An hour had passed since the arrival of the police, who proceeded to question Selia and the boys. The room was filled with tension, everyone present was alert, with the exception of Selia's mother who lay unconscious on the ground. As the interrogations began, both Selia and the boys cooperated, responding truthfully to every inquiry. However, Jungkook made a point to maintain continuous skin contact with Selia, while she clung tightly to her white cane, a constant reminder of her mother's threat.

Despite the emotional turmoil, Selia found herself unable to harbor resentment towards her own mother, a sentiment she couldn't help but perceive as foolish. In the depths of her heart, she couldn't blame her mother for the situation they were in. In an ideal world, Selia mused, she would have never met her soulmate, and everything would have been alright. Yet, being cradled in the arms of her soulmate provided a sense of safety and security that was hard to deny.

The police eventually concluded their investigation, taking Selia's mother into custody and offering polite well-wishes to the shaken household. With the officers gone, the boys exchanged knowing glances, engaging in an unspoken conversation among themselves. Jin, in an attempt to keep his tone calm and considerate, spoke up, "Selia, I think it would be wise for you to come to our house. We don't believe it's safe for you to stay here, and Jungkook needs continuous skin-to-skin contact with you for over a day to complete the bonding process." He understood the hesitation that Selia might feel; after all, they were strangers to her, and her experience in this house had been far from pleasant.

Selia responded with a barely audible "okay," nodding her head. The collective relief among the boys was palpable as they let out a collective sigh.

Jin wasted no time, instructing the boys, "Pack some of Selia's belongings, gather everything essential, and load them into the van." He continued, "Jungkook, ensure that Selia is seated with you in the van. I'll bring a blanket once we're finished loading everything." Jungkook complied, nodding, as they all empathized with the turmoil Selia had endured. While they couldn't cry for her, their primary focus was to get her out of the hazardous environment and safely into their own home.

Jungkook gently lifted Selia into his arms, carefully carrying her to the waiting van. As he opened the door, he positioned her in the middle row of seats, near the window, and took his place beside her. In the midst of the tumultuous events that had unfolded, neither of them found the words to express themselves. Instead, they sought solace in each other's presence, holding on tightly. Jungkook remained shirtless, a testament to the urgency with which they had left Selia's home, and they patiently awaited the arrival of the remaining boys.

True to his word, Jin ensured that a blanket was provided once all the necessary tasks had been completed. He handed the blanket to Jungkook, who carefully draped it over both himself and Selia. This arrangement served the purpose of safeguarding Selia from unintentional physical contact with anyone who might sit next to Jungkook during the journey.

As the boys settled into the van, the seating arrangement took shape. Yoongi took the seat next to Jungkook, while Jimin, Taehyung, and J-Hope occupied the seats behind them. Jin assumed the role of the driver, with Namjoon seated in the front. A somber silence enveloped the vehicle, as each member of the group grappled with their own thoughts and fears. The weight of the situation rendered them hesitant to speak, for fear that their words might trigger Selia or exacerbate the tension in the atmosphere. And so, the journey commenced, an hour-long drive that transpired in absolute silence, until they finally arrived at their destination.

Jungkook's voice trembled with concern as he spoke to Jin, "Jin hyung, I think she's asleep. I've tried nudging her several times, but she hasn't shown any signs of movement. I even checked her pulse, and she's definitely alive." Jin raised an inquisitive eyebrow, turning his gaze back towards Jungkook, his expression a mix of curiosity and worry.

In response, Jin calmly directed, "Alright, Jungkook, just carry her into the house. Find a comfortable spot, whether it's a couch or in your bedroom, but make sure you maintain continuous skin contact." He delicately removed the blanket from over them and headed toward the open front door, where the rest of the boys were busy transporting Selia's belongings inside. Jungkook softly whispered, "Don't wake up," before carefully lifting her from the car and bearing her weight as he moved into the living room.

Jungkook understood that it would provide reassurance to everyone if they could see him and Selia together. With Jin able to oversee them from the kitchen, where he began preparing food, the others could also occupy the living room, either watching television, engaging with their smartphones, or assisting Jin in the culinary preparations.

Upon reaching the living room, Jungkook gently placed Selia and himself on the largest couch available. He situated her body between his legs, resting her head on his shirtless torso. A subtle laugh escaped him as he observed Selia instinctively nestling her head deeper into his stomach. Overwhelmed by relief, Jungkook felt grateful that Selia was now safe and secure in their home.
