In the year 1321 of the New Kyrie Calendar, after a long journey, we have finally arrived at our ideal planet. It is the third planet belonging to the Jerica star system in the Orion Arm. It is apparently called "Earth," and it is a planet with native intelligent life. Furthermore, later investigations revealed that the fourth planet is also habitable for us, and we have decided to call it "Mazner."

We have designated this planet as a new land and conducted investigations from various angles. As a result, it became clear that the technology level of the human inhabitants of Earth is significantly inferior to ours. The Charian people, in particular, advocated for military domination, but turning Earth into a battlefield is not what we desire. Following Her Majesty's request, we have decided to send envoys to the people of Earth for peaceful migration.

The people of Earth proved to be unexpectedly stubborn. The hardliners led by the Prime Minister of Charia were growing increasingly frustrated. Eventually, the Queen approved their proposal. The invasion of Mazner became the first invasion war in the 1.300-year history of our drift. As expected, the Earthling military was too weak. The Queen also agonized, thinking that negotiations would now proceed in our favor. But that was not the case.

Indeed, we were able to extract significant concessions from the people of Earth. However, the use of force hardened their stance, and they continued to show their readiness for battle. But this might be the turning point. I proposed a compromise to the Queen and attempted to shift to a conciliatory approach. I never expected the Queen herself to express a desire to inspect an Earth city, but I saw it as a good opportunity.

However... at the moment when a blade threatened the Queen's throat, we prepared for the end. Simultaneously, we realized that there was something about Earth that we didn't know. We know nothing about Earth. Therefore, the "tour of Earth" proposal from Earth is an opportunity. Many of our compatriots are anxious, but there's no way to pass up on this. It was fortunate that the Queen was pleased with her visit to Earth. We have finally arrived at our ideal planet. We cannot afford to miss this opportunity over the 1.300 years of our journey...

The Earth visit of the Space Drifters Union Queen's Court delegation has been officially confirmed. The location is the far eastern end of the Eurasian continent, the "Japanese Archipelago," which belongs to the nation known as the "Japanese Empire." Before this, the Japanese government had dispatched personnel to the still-occupied Mars for preliminary arrangements. They have been in contact with officials from the Space Drifters Union, preparing for the upcoming visit of the Queen to Earth. One of those dispatched from the Japanese Empire's Ministry of Foreign Affairs is Tenmei Niwatsukino, who is among them. He has traveled to the Queen's Court and is delivering a presentation on Earth and Japanese information.

"Naturally, there are approximately 180 countries on Earth, and they are governed by an organization known as the International Federation. Therefore, there is no organization or nation on Earth that unifies the entire planet."

Niwatsukino explained about Earth while displaying a world map in the background, reiterating for the purpose of imparting minimal knowledge and considerations for landing on Earth.

"There is no hierarchy among nations; they are all equal. However, based on economic and military power, several countries are often referred to as major powers, and our nation, the Japanese Empire, is one of those. Our form of government is a constitutional monarchy with an Emperor, and we are a nation with over 200 islands of varying sizes."
