JULIANA

I knew it was a terrible idea, but we both live for trouble, so we went for it anyway. Thanks to Josh for stepping in for Shawn while we made our escape from the hospital, managing to slip away without the nurses noticing.

Yeah, it was a stupid idea, but who cares? We were happy, sneaking out of the hospital, and giggling like teenagers was the main highlight of our night.

He wanted to see my apartment. I promised to show him once he was out of the hospital, but the bastard was so persuasive that we ended up going tonight.

When we got to my place, I unlocked the door, swung it open, and flicked on the lights.

"What do you think?" I asked, eager for his opinion.

"I haven't figured out where everything goes yet, but I'll sort it out tomorrow."

He wandered in, scanning the room with curiosity, taking in the stacks of unopened boxes and the couch in the middle of the room. Then, he headed straight for the floor-to-ceiling windows.

The best thing about this place? The nighttime view of San Francisco. It was breathtaking.

I joined him by the window, wrapping my arms around him as we both admired the city lights.

"You picked the perfect spot," he said, his voice dropping.

"I guess I did. I could get used to this every night."

He turned to face me, cupping my face in his hands, his eyes sparkling with affection.

"I'm so glad you came back. I really wouldn't have done anything to move on without you. I love you, you know that, right?"

My heart raced as I looked at him. Silence hung in the air, tension building. His gaze flickered to my lips, then back to my eyes.

Without a second thought, I closed the gap and kissed him. His hands traveled from my hips to my arms, and before I knew it, he lifted me off the ground.

I broke the kiss and laughed, looking down at him.

"I think it's time for a tour of the bedroom," he suggested, a playful smile on his lips. I eagerly nodded, going in for another kiss as he began to walk away from the window.

"You're going the wrong way," I said, laughing against his lips.

"Oh shit. Then where the hell am I supposed to go?"

I pointed behind him, still laughing.

"That way."

He quickly turned us around and headed for the closed door on the other side. With one arm supporting me, he used the other to open the door, and we stumbled into my bedroom.

Luckily, I had finished setting it up. The bed was neatly made, my clothes were tucked away in the closet, the curtains hung on the windows, and there was even a cute red fluffy carpet on the floor.

He gently lowered me onto the bed, still hovering above me. Desire flickered in his blue eyes, and I ran my fingers through his soft blond hair.

"What are you thinking about?" he asked suddenly, and I looked into his eyes.

"Nothing much. Just glad to be here with you," I replied, smiling.

His eyes lit up with excitement as he leaned in, kissing me slowly and passionately. It didn't take long before our clothes were off, and we spent the night together, lost in each other, in a wild, passionate embrace.
