Having a full conversation,
looking up,
and realizing nobody's listening.
Having to repeat yourself,
and always being interrupted.
Begging for the smallest amount of attention,
then realizing nobody cares.
You are the loud friend,
you talk alot,
move your hands around,
and laugh as loud as the whales cry,
but you are loud because nobody ever listens.
You don't feel heard,
you never have.
So you become the friend that listens,
the friend they come to,
but only when they need something.
In hope's that maybe one day,
they'll do the same,
for you.
