It's not all black and white

unrequited love.

When I met you,
you were the most annoying person on this earth,
that slowly changed,
because I fell for you.
fell for your loud presence,
and the sweet sound of your laughter.
The galaxy in your eyes,
and way you make everyone around you laugh.
Though you are still equally,
as annoying.
I fell head over heels for you,
playing jenga with my own heart,
but the hope of you loving me too kept me going.
Not knowing I was slowly going insane,
creating false realities,
and living in them.
You did not love me,
never have,
and never will.
But the fear of you not being in my life,
is worse than climbing Mount Everest without gear.
So I'll sit back,
laugh at your stupid jokes,
stare into those eyes and break my own heart.
