Before I can knock the door to Miguel's office,Sophia stops me.
"Hey! Miguel left to go handle some business issues." She says while turning me to face her
'i just want to talk to him.when will he be back?' Trying to hold my tears from falling.
"I don't know,it may take a while plus he knows the truth too."
'how did he find out?did he know everything before this?'
"Hey!listen you need to calm down and eat your breakfast,then will talk about everything calmly." Sophia says while calling Carmen to serve us.
I drink a cup of coffee with a few pancakes to make Sophia happy because she wont let me starve to death.
Once we are done we go outside to get some fresh air and talk.
"To ease your worries, Miguel only found out yesterday.i wish I could tell you but it wasn't my place."
'i know,I just feel betrayed by my mom.she knew everything but lied to my face all this long.'
"I also feel kind off broken that you aren't my sister anymore."
'if I could make a wish,I would ask for us to be blood siblings.'
"But I also gained a sister in law.something that was not a possibility."
'yeah,it sounds funny for you to put it that way.i do approve your relationship with my brother.'
"Are you okay knowing that Miguel is your brother?"
'at first I felt confused about everything but I decided to let the past go and enjoy the present with a open heart.'
"Miguel is going through the same,that's why he has been avoiding facing you but soon he is going to come through."
'hope so,I have already hurt him so much.do you think he'll forgive me?'
"That's not up to me to say but am sure he will forgive you eventually.just give him time."
'i hope I have enough time to earn his forgiveness.'
"Don't loose hope and so tell me what's up with you and George?
'there is nothing to tell.' I say trying to avoid talking about him
"Something must have happened,even if you don't trust me with your secrets anymore."
'He lied about his identity all this time we have been together.i just felt betrayed by the man I loved and now we aren't a thing.no more George in my life and I don't want to see his face ever again.'
"Do you really mean every word you are say or are you just saying it?"
'i just know one thing only, George and I aren't a thing anymore.he can go and find someone else to lie to.'
