Dr. came and checked Veer. He prescribed some medicines. He made an injection ready and pulled Veer's T-shirt up. He was about to inject Veer, when his eyes caught Veer's something. He injected him and called Kartik and Mahir showed them the marks. They gasped seeing Veer's slightly bruised stomach.
Dr: Kartik, ye punches ke nishan hai. Did Veer had a fight with someone?
Kartik: No uncle. Subha ye jaldi ghar aagaya. Naira ne pucha to bola ki stomachache hai. Phir bahar chala gaya aur ab aaya. Dr. anything serious? Ise achanak se fever kaise aa gaya?
Dr: I see. Iska matlab mera doubt sahi tha. Ye nishan subhe ke hai. Veer ka pet subhe stomachache ki bajese nahi, balki itne saare punches khane ki bajese dukh raha tha. Aur rahi baat fever ki, toh he is under mental pressure.
Kartik/Mahir: Mental pressure?

Kartik, tumhe usse puchke jald ye sab pata lagana hoga as jyada mental stress can worsen his health. Dont let him take stress. Try ki vo jo apne man me chupa raha ho, vo tum dono ko khul ke bataye. He needs you both. Ise jaldhi hosh aajayega. Mai chalta hu. Take Care of him. Kuch lage to call karna.
They both nodded. Mahir went till door to drop dr. Kartik was caressing Veer's hair with tears.
Kartik: Jaldi uth ja, baccha. Bhai can't see you like this. Bhai is sorry. Bhai ne thappad mara na? Isliye naraj hai na tu? Bhai is sorry, baccha. Par tu please uth ja. Phir dekh, bhai kabhi nahi haat uthayega tujhpe. Promise.
Mahir: Me too promise, baby. Maine bhi mara na tumhe? I'm sorry, Veer. I'm sorry. Jaldi uth ja.
He said caressing Veer's red cheek. Kartik kissed Veer's forehead. Suddenly, Veer shivered a bit. Mahir quickly offed the fan and Kartik covered him with blanket, rubbing his hands while Mahir rubbing his feets.
