Hey guys! And OMG I managed to finish the new chapter for this week :D (as well as next week's lolol)!
Bit of news. Uni messed up my timetable so I missed Monday's session but I have another 3 or 4 parts written up for the rest of the month and I'll continue to bring them out unless I have an essay or project due (please check my conversations tab on my profile for regular updates) but other than that, we're good to go for a few more weeks :3
I have a big/ important chapter on the way too (the next one I'm posting) so hopefully I can write it as well as I've imagined it. It's about a future event so I'm apologizing in advance if it's not accurate or how other people see it happening ^^" but I'll explain this more when I get around to posting it :3
For this week: I posted Jack's biography on the OC databook a few days ago so def check it out if you wanna learn more about him and my other main OCs. And I'm also posting this chapter and starting on the biggest one for this book so far.
For this chapter: It takes place 6 months after the last one. I'm really sorry about the huge timeskip but nothing interesting really happens and I didn't want to write a Christmas story in the middle of August, so I decided on posting Levi's second birthday instead. It's a bit of a summary chapter but features more dialogue now that he can talk a bit more (one of the only downsides of earlier chapters I think was that he wasn't able to speak much, but now he's starting to use full sentences so yay :3)
Anyway, now that my incredibly unnecessarily long intro is complete, I hope you all enjoy this week's part :3

Chapter Song: Valentine - 5 Seconds of Summer
-
A little under six months following Katia's wedding announcement and invitation and slightly longer after my 28th birthday, we were heading back to the farm where we'd been strawberry picking at the end of May. Since Levi enjoyed the activity so much we'd decided to go back to the farm so that he could see the animals again. Granted, there wouldn't be any strawberries there this time because the season wasn't quite right, but he'd enjoyed tasting them more than picking them, so I'd made sure to bring a punnet with us for our picnic later in the day for the three of us to enjoy together. I really couldn't blame him for his love for the fruit though and guessed that it was something he'd inherited from me since strawberries and pineapples were my favorites – although every time we tried feeling Levi a small chunk of pineapple, his face would always contort into a squint that reminded me a bit of a raisin or when Aryia would pull a similar face to make us laugh.
Since the farm had a no animals policy, we ended up leaving Ronnie at home with Kévin and Eileen, but Levi didn't seem to mind from how distracted he was by the prospect of visiting the farm animals. The last time we'd visited the farm Levi wasn't able to walk so we'd ended up carrying him in a backpack carrier which had topped my list of My Favorite Accessories that Aryia wears just from how cute he was with Levi whenever he would carry our son in it and had been even cuter than the time I decided to carry him in my overalls. We bought the carrier with us just in case he got tired of walking around or the reins started to hurt him, but he seemed to be walking fine on my right while Aryia carried the backpack carrier on his back while holding my left hand as we walked.
"Momma, look, goats!" Levi pointed out to me excitedly, pulling slightly on the harness as he went into a little bit of a run.
"Yeah, it's the goats." I said as Aryia smiled. "Do you wanna go and say "hi"?"
He looked back at me and nodded. "Yeah."
"Alright then." I smiled, scooping him up when we got closer so that he could peek over the fence.
