Hey guys, happy Friday!
I'm soooooooooo sorry that I haven't been sticking to my usual Wednesday post schedule but I honestly forgot that I hadn't completed this part until Monday and I've literally just managed to finish it now ^^" However, I do have the majority of the next chapter finished (I have to write one or two more scenes for it) so I should have it uploaded on time. My original plan was to finish book 2 before the end of the year so I could focus on uni, but I have another 4 chapters left to write in their entirety (only 2 have been mostly or completely finished) but I might have to upload into 2025. It could all change in the next week though since I want to upload twice or more a week (and was planning to next week) since Rhymes 34 and 35 are quite short, so I might have them written up by new year and the book is very much almost finished by then, so we MIGHT finish it by January 1st and I can upload it before I go home or the day I get home (January 3rd) and fingers crossed I can since I know you guys are looking forward to book 3 - which I'll start posting after I've written and submitted a 4000 word thesis for uni, but I will be updating and writing in the meantime ;)
Meanwhile, if you guys are interested in what's happening with uploads, I'm posting at least 1 or 2 weekly updates in the conversations tab on my profile to keep you all updated so check them out for regular and up-to-date updates on Book 2
This chapter is a bit filler-esque and doesn't have much dialogue, but it's significant for book 3 and the rest of this book, so I hope you all enjoy :)

Chapter Song: Lottery - Latto
-
"You ever get the random urge to do the lottery?" I asked Aryia one morning when I was making a shopping list.
"Don't tell me that's going under carrots on the list."
I shrugged. "Gimme six numbers."
"You're serious?"
"I'm always serious."
"We don't need the money."
"You might for your business. And I'd like to invest. Your ideas are really inspiring."
"Well thanks, but I've not even put them out yet."
"That doesn't matter." I told him. "What does is that I believe in you. I always will."
"Thanks." He beamed. "And same back to you."
I nodded. "Anyway, six numbers, please."
"Okay." He caved. "How about 5, 8, 19, 27, 39 and... 25?"
I jotted them all down under the word carrots. "Thanks."
"Wait, how much is the jackpot worth this week?"
I shrugged. "Not sure. Anyway, is there anything else you think we might need?"
"Not that I can think of. Are you sure you don't want me to go with you?"
"Look, today's been amazing, but Kév and Eileen are back from their babymoon this evening and I need to pick Levi up before I get started on dinner."
"Then how about I pick him up now and we make dinner together when you get home?"
"Sounds like a plan." I smiled as I put my shoes on and kissed him softly on the cheek. "I won't be too long."
"Miss you already." He winked.
I giggled before leaving through the front door to get our groceries from Ralph's while Aryia picked up our other favorite person from preschool.
It had only been a week since Levi turned four, but Aryia and I had agreed to cut our working hours a bit to spend more time with him, and the only reason he was in school was because he wanted to spend time with Kairi. We'd offered to look after our neighbors' daughter for the day but Cara and Damien wanted her to go to school while they were at work, so we decided to let Levi tag along with his best friend as well.
