Hi guys, Happy Thursday...

That lowkey feels weird. I didn't update yesterday 'cuz I didn't have the chapter finished, but I managed to get everything typed up literally an hour before I'm posting this (lolol). This is also one of the longest parts of the book (at almost 15000 words 🤯 which is crazy lol)

I sadly won't be posting next week because I need to adjust a few chapters (again) and write a few up but I hope that this part and the character data coming out on Sunday keeps you entertained in the meantime as this is a pretty long part 😅 But I should be on-track to finish this book by the end of the year :3

Note: I added some Russian into this chapters (since a few of the OCs in this part have a Russian background). As I stated with earlier parts with Farsi, I also don't speak any Russian. With that being said, if there's any faults in my translation, please let me know so that I can change it to be correct as I used a translator and I'm not sure how accurate it is 😅

There are a few trigger warnings in this chapter as well to be aware of so please be mindful of them

WARNINGS: Accusations of Cheating, Attempted Sexual Assault, Drugging/ Drink Spiking, Gaslighting, Harrassment, Nightmares about Traumatic Events, Non-Consensual Touching

Chapter Song: Something Blue - VOILÀ

-

When late November came, it was finally time for Katia's wedding. In the past couple of months I'd made myself busy by taking a few trips to Fresno to help her with her perfect wedding day checklist: attending dress appointments, trying on bridesmaid dresses, finding food vendors and florists to supply our bouquets, ordering a four tier cake from a bakery, and finding a suitable venue. I almost missed Levi's first Trick or Treat on Halloween, but made it home just as he and Aryia were getting dressed in their Blink 182 outfits before they went out.

I was unsure why Aryia went with the costume for Levi's first Halloween but the family idea he'd come up with was really unique and I quite liked that about it. Levi did want to go as a vampire the next year though, and as much as I loved Aryia's band idea, a lot of people were asking who our son was supposed to be. I did mention to Aryia that we could go as Damon and Elena from my favorite show The Vampire Diaries and he sounded happy with the idea since it meant I'd be simping for him even more than I normally did – since Damon's actor was my childhood celebrity crush and Aryia often got jealous when I fangirled over him whenever we watched the show.

Speaking of The Vampire Diaries, that was a recurring theme for Katia's wedding. She was having a similar garland as the ones in two of the wedding episodes and she wanted the first couple's dance to feature Damon and Elena's first dance at the Miss. Mystic Falls pageant. Knowing my terrible - yet improving - dancing skills, I was glad that my best friend hadn't chosen a wilder song for her and Jack's first dance but I was still a little nervy whenever Aryia and I practiced.

"I still don't get why we can't touch hands."

"Because it's from our favorite show." I explained to my boyfriend when we were practicing after reading to Levi one night. "Besides, Katia will kill me if I don't get this dance right."

"We could literally touch hands and she wouldn't even know about it."

"Trust me, she would. That's one of the similarities between us, we pay attention to detail."

"Women who pay attention to detail, I like that."

I gave him a look, recalling that I'd said something similar to him the night we met.

"What?"

"Nothing." I laughed.

"It's gotta be something."
