Hey guys, so I've been kinda lazy this week and haven't written anything cuz I've been busy with uni work 😅 I do however have this chapter and the next one fully written up. I'm confident that I'll still be on schedule for future uploads but I might have to postpone the chapter in 2 weeks until I have all my assignments finished cuz this workbook uni has me doing is really long. I'm hoping to get it finished by Friday and if not, next Monday but I'll try my best to write up Rhyme 28 and post it for the week after next.
The argument featured in this chapter wasn't planned to write but I felt that it was important for her character arc to get her feelings and opinions out. I would therefore like to disclose in advance that I DO NOT agree with anything she says regarding the argument or the person she is talking to/thinking about when they debate things, nor do I bare any ill will towards Aryia, his friends or anyone else he's related to. It's been a while since I wrote angst and I wanted to experiment with it. The argument is purely fictional and was only done to create a realistic-sounding characterization for Evra. Again, I do not agree with anything she says/thinks in relation to this argument/relationship.
In spite of this, I hope you all enjoy this chapter.

Chapter Song: YouFeelMe? - Aryia
-
Two months after Levi turned three, we were on tour.
As much as I was dreading 10 days without our baby boy, I was also looking forward to seeing our friends and our band again. Except it wasn't just our friends and The Seafloor Cinema who were touring with us. Low and behold, Aryia's business partner – the one from Kévin's Guess the Girlfriend video was tagging along too.
"As much as I enjoy touring with friends I don't see why we had to bring Aryia's business partner along." I groaned in the front passenger seat, resting my head on my hand which was currently propped up on the window with my elbow.
"Really, 'cuz I thought you liked the idea of having another girl in the van with us." Nick was currently driving us to our first tour stop in Arizona – we were stopping here first because we'd had to skip our stop here on our last stop due to the terrorist threats.
"That was when we still had Jess as company." I sighed. "And Ary was doing so well without smoking these last two months."
"You do realize we can hear you back here." She pointed out.
"Did someone say something?" I asked, trying to make fun of the situation because I was nowhere near enjoying myself yet. Even the repetitive conversations with Ryan during our last tour in summer 2022 had been more fun than this.
"Jeez, Evra, are you on your period or something?"
"No but I think someone is."
"Aryia?" Six asked from behind me, glancing at my boyfriend.
"Hm?" What now?" He looked up from his laptop. That was the problem dating a workaholic. Don't get me wrong, I loved Aryia's dedication, drive, focus and work style, he just hadn't been as talkative recently. And I had a feeling I knew who was the route cause of this.
"Are you on your period?" Jason asked him, repeating the question.
My boyfriend sniggered. "No way."
"I think you are." Nick joked.
"Yeah, my man period." My boyfriend laughed to himself, making everyone else snigger.
I grumbled. The score was her 1 - me 0.
"Can we not just talk about something else?" I asked. 'My periods aren't comfortable as it is.' – In fact, they were really painful and I had no idea what I did wrong in the past to deserve such horrific pain.
