Happy Wednesday everyone!

Another week and another longer chapter :3 This one's a bit shorter than last time at 12k words, but i told you I'd make it up to you for my lack of posts recently, huh? :D

I'll also be posting a longer part next week (and possibly the week after too since that's when Ary and Evie actually do what they have planned in this chapter, but I won't spoil it until the end note :3

This part was really fun to write actually, mainly cuz I got to go on a bunch of housing websites and windowshop for houses I love but I'll never be able to afford XD so there's a bit of behind the scenes for you (photos are included in this part to make it a bit more interesting too)

I hope you enjoy this week's chapter :)

Chapter Song: New England - 6 Months to Live

Summary: After their trio of concerts, Jay makes a suggestion to Aryia and Evra that sticks with them long enough to consider implementing it.

-

A few days after the show, Aryia and I met up with the band at the café. Jay was also there, having wanted to congratulate us on the amazing job we just did at the mint, not just as our manager, but our friend too. We were all still buzzing from the high of our last three performances. As we sat around the large table, our conversation turned from the experiences to our future plans. I sipped my iced coffee, taking in everything that had happened since the year started. The boys were discussing the usual things: new music, more shows, but then Jay brought up another idea.

"I was actually meant to ask you guys something."

"Hm?" I wondered.

"How do you guys feel about taking things to another level?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean: what do you think about moving to Boston?"

"Hey, that actually sounds like a great idea." Nick thought out loud. "I mean, it'd mean you guys wouldn't have to keep getting flights to and from LA whenever we wanna work on new music."

The idea was exciting, sure, but the majority of everything we knew was here in LA. We were close to our families, had made amazing friends and Levi had just started school. I looked at Aryia who seemed to be deep in thought as he sat back in his chair.

"It is an interesting idea. I mean, LA's great – don't get me wrong, its sucks sometimes – but we've been doing a lot of the same stuff here. More shows, more exposure, but... what about the music itself?"

"Well, it's your guys' call." 6 said, tapping his fingers on the table in thought. "It's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of LA. But Boston could give you a fresh vibe and a new sound. Plus, working even closer with Jay and Nick could really push us in new directions."

"Exactly." Nick said, leaning in with a serious and totally un-Nick-style look on his face. "The scene's a little different and more tight-knit. I think you could find some real inspiration in that for your songs and your business. Besides, we've been super eager to develop more sound."

"You guys've been talking about this?" I asked.

"Just on the way here." Jay admitted. "As you guys know, I did a few shows in Europe a few years ago and it really helped me to develop the sounds I use on Masstr.io. Nick and I were just discussing how we can apply that same style of tactic to your music."

"So you're saying our songs suck?" Aryia joked in mock offense.

Jay picked up on it, laughing to himself. "Not that. I'm just saying I can help develop that into something that really represents where you're at whenever you want."
