You felt every negative emotion possible while looking into her eyes, you could tell it was taking a while to decide on what to do when you noticed how the blood dagger aimed at Maribelle began to dry up and chip

"Sparing your life would be spitting on the lives you've taken" your hands ball up into a fist.
"I'm not asking you to spare me, I'm asking you to kill me beside her", she looks determined.
You look at her exasperatedly.
"Papa said he buried her somewhere in the woods" she continues as if you had already agreed to the conditions of her death penalty.
You shake your head.
"No."
You felt overwhelmed and wronged, the mere sight of her made you sick with anger but most of all you felt homesick.
"Y-y/n please, you need to do this, afterall I'm a danger!"
She could do nothing but plead because I had impaled every one of her limbs with my daggers.
It was as if she was now pleading to die more than she was to see her mother's grave.
You get up from the ground, now looking down at her sympathetically.
She's just a broken child.
You turn away from her coldly, you see Usopp with his back turned just as you had selfishly asked of him. You smile softly at the sight of him.
Afterall he was a piece of the home you missed so dearly.
Your eyes widen when you feel the fabric of the hem of your pants being pulled, you look back towards the floor to see Maribelle biting down on it desperately, a fatal amount of blood leaving her impaled limbs.
"Y/N PLEASE! DON'T END IT LIKE THIS."
"you'll be with her soon enough"
You stare down at her in disbelief, fury and disgust as you watched the blood leave her body and paint the floor.
"let go"
"NO. YOU NEED TO KILL ME. IT NEEDS TO BE YOU"
You kick her face in brutally causing her to double back and whimper in pain, you realise just how hard you kicked her when you see 2 blood covered teeth on the floor.
Shit...
You guiltily look forward, trying your best to ignore the agonized, desperate sobs, walking forward towards your crewmate slowly.
"Usopp", you call out to him softly.
"y/n", he replies and finally turns toward you, you're met with a terrified but oddly warm combination of a smile.
You walk into his body, your hand grasping the fabric on his back. He was shaking like a leaf, it comforted you in a way because you were shaking aswell. You were both traumatized.
"I missed you", he says softly as he wraps his arms around you.
You chuckle to subside the wave oncoming tears,"I missed you too Pinocchio.", I jest.
I had blocked out Maribelles screaming but it still bothered Usopp, you could tell by how each of her screams made him tense more and more.
"You.. You didn't finish her off", he points out and holds your shoulders as he pulls away from the hug to look into your eyes but you stay silent.
