Backstory: Alanah is 17 she moved from California to Harlem, New york. She didn't grow up in your average household, her mother wasn't the best parent but Alanah knew she was "trying her best".

Her parents split when she was 3 yrs old (reason will be told later on). Alanah had enough of her mother's sick comments and moved out to her dad's home in Harlem, New York.

Of course she was scared and didn't know what to expect but all she just wanted was to be safe and comfortable in her own home.

Little did Alanah know she would meet the boy of her dreams and have a friend group that is always down to do whatever.
