||I'm sorry..||Chapter 9||

Y/N's POV

I woke up the next morning with puffy eyes, I got up off the floor, using the bed to push myself up. I sniffled and held my head, I had a fucking horrible headache. I looked in the mirror

"God I look like a hot mess" I said to myself, dragging my hand down my face. I was still really sad about last night and a few tears ran down my face as I picked out a comfy outfit and got dressed.

I took deep breaths to try and compose myself, it felt weird waking up without Angel here..

I picked up my phone, and plugged in my earbuds, I played some music that I thought would help cheer me up, but it didn't really help..

I kept crying off and on for about 5 hours before I decided to go downstairs and eat something.

I got down there and tiredly grabbed some snacks and was about to head up to my room before I heard the basement door open

Angel

I looked down, he definitely saw me so I couldn't just run away. He spoke

"Hey.. Y/N.. are you mad at me..? I'm sorry I acted so rude last night" Angel said as he looked down at me, I started to cry

"Angel.. it wasn't your fault, not at all.. I just- got really- unstable and.. took it out on you. I'm the one that should be sorry, Angel I was never mad at you in the first place" I said, tears starting to stream down my face

"Y/N.." Angel said as he bent down to his knees and lifted my chin up "I'm not mad at you either, it wasn't your fault either. I just- was really confused" he said softly.

I smiled weakly and dropped my snacks, pulling him into a hug. He tensed up at first, but then softened and put all his arms around me.

We stayed there for a while, just in each other's embrace. 

Angel's POV

I slowly let Y/N go, and smiled at her, I was never mad at her, I was just confused.

She smiled back at me and we picked up the snacks and headed to her room, I breathed out a sigh of relief, I was happy that we were okay again

At this point, I accepted it, I was in love.. the only problem is.. does she feel the same? I wiped away those thoughts as we made it up the stairs and slipped through her bedroom door

As I flopped onto the bed, Y/N shut the door with a click.

"What movie do you wanna watch Angie?" she said, her sweet voice sounding like a song in my ears

"Oh uh- how about (your favorite movie)?" I said, snapping out of my dazed  state

"Oh. my. GOD. Angie you know me too well" she said with her bright smile, hopping into bed and pulling her soft blanket over the both of us, my long legs peeking out of the other end. She giggled at this as she put on the movie

I put my hands behind my head and let out a soft, relaxed hum as the movie played and we laughed at the stupid jokes that were made ever so often by us as the movie played

Y/N had basically memorized the whole dialogue by now and I was impressed by her ability to talk in sync with the characters.

About an hour later, the movie ended and the credits began to roll, Y/N was half asleep, snuggled into my chest, I smiled.

She will be mine one day, I'm sure of it.

Y/N's POV

I snuggled into Angel's chest and smiled softly, I was aware now that I was in love with him. I didn't know what to do..

All my thoughts drift away as the comfort of sleep swept over me. I fluttered my eyes open slightly one last time as Angel spoke in a soft, quiet, and deep voice.

"Goodnight..my N/N"

I flushed at his words but nonetheless let myself drift to sleep, wondering if I had misheard him...

OMG YALL I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT UPLOADING A CHAPTER FOR SO LONG MY LORD.

I got really busy with school and there was so much shit going on, I started working on this chapter back in December but gave up on it halfway through. I finally finished it and I'm happy to say that chapters will be coming out more consistently now as I finally have things figured out. There will be two other, decently long chapters coming out tonight to fire things back up! I will take any suggestions for chapters but please remember I may change them a bit to fit the plot I have planned! Thank you to everyone that stayed here and is reading this right now!
