Y/N's POV-

And just like that, my weekend was over and it was back to school. For a slight moment, it felt so unreal in the way that I had just spent the day prior with Levi. Like literally, the whole day was me and him just being together. Not that I'm complaining of course, never that.

If it wasn't for me forgetting that Levi still has no idea that Mikasa was aware of what is going on between us, he probably would have stayed the night over. Another part of me knows he kind of wouldn't just because he didn't have a change of clothing and well, it's Levi we're talking about. Since yesterday when we entered the apartment, Mikasa was not there, I had sent her a quick text letting her be aware that Levi was here. In the sense so she is not caught in a surprise of his presence, but also because she and I came up with what I guess you could call a "system"? Basically, if he were to come over, I were to let her know and like that, she would know to not interrupt. I did not want her to feel as if she was a bother in her own living space but she insisted that it was what she wanted and she preferred this. I guess it does come in handy.

For example if I'm in my room with Levi, instead of her normally knocking on the door or even just opening it to come and talk to me, she would just yell out for me. Like this, she would fake not know he was here and he wouldn't feel weird as well. I don't know, it's all a bit funny and complicated at times, but it also makes sense.

Anyways, back at school, it was all just off. Come our lunch period, it was a bit awkward seeing August there. I just kept thinking about how he had lied about him and I sleeping together. It's something I never thought would come out of his damn mouth, but at the same time, I hate to say that I see how he could be that type of person.

"You never told me you were leaving." August said to me, he was sitting next to me as prior days. Only this time I really extremely hated it and wanted to push him out of the seat.

I sighed, "Uh, yeah. Just never saw you again I guess."

I really was trying to forget about what he had said about us, but I couldn't. At the same time though, I couldn't help but also recall how Levi had expressed himself and how his facial expressions were all over the place trying to understand. Even from me right now talking to August, I could feel the flaming daggers from Levi staring at us.

"Really?! I kept looking for you actually, I got worried you were passed over in some random place or something." He chuckled.

I shake my head, "No, who do you take me for?" I giggled.

"Definitely not me." August snorted, fiddling with the plastic straw bag. "I had way too much to drink from the beginning, I can't seem to remember anything from when I saw you come in until the party finished."

It's so incredibly amazing how he seems so nerdy and nervous right now, what an act that he puts on.

"How did you get home?" I kept the conversation going.

I knew that Levi was listening despite Michelle talking to him and even caressing his forearm. A way to try and get more of his attention I believe.

"Shit, I don't even know. I'm just grateful that I did, God knows where I could have ended up." He sighs in relief.

I shrug my shoulders not knowing what to say.

"With you I would have hoped." August says quietly with a sort of sweet tone in his voice that just irked me in some way.

I let out a laughter of nervousness, not knowing what to respond to him.

I think after he saw that I was not sure on what to say, he immediately says "I'm just kidding." Followed by a hopeful chuckle to which I don't respond to again.
