Chapter 38 ~ Operation: Contessa

The Storm Hawks were battling against the Dark Ace, Aerrow and Mags were high on his trail until Mags shot his skimmer causing it to blow up as he flies up into the sky and crashes into the ground. Aerrow and Mags got off their skimmers while Mags aimed at him, Aerrow walked up to the Dark Ace in anger.

Aerrow: I'll ask you again, hand over the scroll. Now!!
Dark Ace: Do you honestly think I would hand it over to you, not until you hand me over Luna
Aerrow: Too bad, she's back at Terra Celestial getting prepared to get rid of her scroll, now hand it over or-

Before Aerrow could finish his sentence, Aerrow was shot away as his body slammed into his skimmer. The Dark Ace looked back while Mags looked up, and to their surprise a mysterious woman steps out holding an energy rapier in her hand as she slowly walked towards Mags. He quickly shot multiple shots only to be deflected so quickly, until somehow the mysterious woman appeared in front of Mags leaving him stunned until she attacked and knocked him into Aerrow.

Cloaked Woman: Well done, but it's not enough... Fufufu, you call yourselves Sky Knights when you clearly can't stand a chance against a higher up enemy such as myself
Aerrow: [glares] Tch, you again!
Dark Ace: [glares] Who are you?

The cloaked woman slowly pulled her cloak off of her to unveil her identity, she dons a black and purple long sleeve suit with a mesh top covering the keyhole on her chest, black tights and matching black and purple over the knees length boots. She had black hair that was held in a updo hairstyle, with glowing emerald green eyes.

Contessa: The Contessa is the name, don't forget it
Mags: Ugh!! Not her again!! We lost to her back at Terra Neon!!
Aerrow: We have to try again!!

Mags and Aerrow fight the Contessa, only to be overly powered by her when the end of her energy rapier hit Aerrow and Mags so many times making them paralyzed by it.

Before she could end things for them, a blade was hear her neck when she looked back to see the Dark Ace glaring at her.

Dark Ace: No one will be ending his life except for me
Contessa: Really, because each of your attempts have all been a failure to eliminate your enemy

Just then Mags knocked the Contessa foot causing her to fall on top of the Dark Ace as Aerrow and Mags retreat to their skimmers and sped off to get away.

Contessa: Ugh... Great, they got away, and just when I was gonna use my Hypno Crystal to control these meddling kids [stands up] such a shame, but it's fun chasing after the prey... Need a hand?
Dark Ace: [stands up] No thank you, I can handle things on my own [walks away]
Contessa: Very well, maybe I'll see you some other time. Say hi to Master Cyclonis for me
Dark Ace: [stop walking] How do you-

The Dark Ace turned around only to see that Contessa had vanished, he looked around his surroundings and was left confused but didn't bother and went back to Cyclonia to report to Cyclonis of his battle and discovery. When he arrived he heard a couple of talons murmuring about the Contessa and her success in taking down other Sky knights, including putting a Zodiac member in the infirmary. He continued to ignore their words when he reached to the chamber to find Cyclonis working on her next scheme, as he kneeled down before her.

Dark Ace: Master Cyclonis
Cyclonis: Ah, the Dark Ace. I assume you have heard of a new villain rising to the top
Dark Ace: Yes, I have recent to believe that this Contessa could be a huge threat to your plans
Cyclonis: Oh I don't think she will be, see I have been observing her particularly and find her very interesting. Her combat skills are remarkable and she's managed to send a couple of Sky Knights into the infirmary, they won't be able to defend their Terras long
Dark Ace: Aren't you worried that she'll be a threat to your plans, what if she decides to attack you and-
Cyclonis: And what? Take over Atmos herself, not likely. She's more particularly a bounty hunter, enjoys the thrill of hunting her prey. I'll be inviting her to the Gala so she and I can chat about how to take down the Storm Hawks, deliver the invitation to her personally. From what I heard, she has taken over Terra Neon and is living there herself. Do make sure that the invitation is delivered, no matter what
