THE NOISY BUZZ of Fukurodani's bus filled the air, Bokuto shouting to Konoha from his seat next to Akaashi. Although Bokuto's shouting could be heard from across the entirety of the world, alongside all the galaxies in the planet, it seemed faint to Akaashi. His earbuds were lodged safely and securely into his ears, the jazz album he decided to listen to blasting at full volume.
Looking out the window seemed to bore him the longer he did it, his mind repeatedly drifting off to the thought of you. It seemed as if you were all he could think about these past few weeks, your face and voice never leaving his thoughts. You had only called a few times, but it was enough for him to remember your voice like it was on a record.
That was when it hit him. The brilliant idea to text you had barely hit him the moment they pulled into Nekoma's school, the bus making the players sway slightly side to side as it pulled into a driveway. So, Akaashi pulled his phone out of his pocket speedily, quick to go into his IMessage app before clicking on your contact that was the third one pinned; he supposed you earned that place on the pinned bar.
