CHAPTER 17

Taehyung again arrived at Jungkook's University to do some interrogation.

"Am sorry to bother you again but it's really necessary", Taehyung apologize for once again disturbing.

"No sir it's ok afterall it's about students of our University and we all are ready to help you", Coordinator of the University said

That day of murder police had just took the dead body and investigated the area if there is any clue of the culprit and asked people if they had saw culprits face but unfortunately no one and culprit was sharp enough to avoid CCTVs installed in the campus, and today again police was back for interrogation from people present on the crime scene. That day only Jungkook told police that the bullet was fired for him but the girl took it and he doesn't know why if anyone would do that and Taehyung didn't asked much because Jungkook was so broken and was not in the condition to tell.

Today again tae asked everyone if they remember by chance anything related to the culprit but no one Only one witness named Kim Yoon Jae ,  which they got earlier , told them that he saw a weird man wearing mask and having a sun tatoo on his right palm that was the clue police had right now.

Now Jungkook was again sitting in front of Taehyung, only them alone as Taehyung didn't want Jungkook to feel uncomfortable and instructed other's to leave them alone.

"I know it's hard but you know you have to help me", Taehyung said softly not to tense the younger .

"I'll do all I can do to help", Jungkook said with pain and determination lingering in his voice.

"You told that the bullet was fired for you but how can you be so sure", Taehyung asked

"Am sure because two days before this incident happened I felt like someone was keeping an eye on me , both in school and while I go to my home , first I ignored it as everything was normal and why would anyone chase me ? I thought!...But when that day the bullet fired at me I was sure that Target was me but she came in front of me immediately.. I saw a glimpse of that man before he ran he wore a mask", Jungkook said with numb eyes all he knew and Taehyung was listening carefully

"Hmm I got it ... by the way who was she your friend", Taehyung asked

"No ", Jungkook

"Then why she sacrifice herself for you", Taehyung asked

"Because... Because she liked me ", Jungkook said with freshly formed tears filling his eyes

"Oh ... Am sorry", Taehyung took his handkerchief and gave it to younger and patted his back to calm him

"Am sorry for your girlfriend", Taehyung said

"She wasn't my girlfriend... I said she liked me but I didn't we weren't in relationship", Jungkook explained wiping his tears ,"that's why I feel guilty if it wasn't for me she wouldn't have to die"

Taehyung felt bad for younger, sensing as how he must be feeling inside him , he would be fighting a whole cyclone of guilt inside him even he did not done anything, Taehyung didn't know why but seeing Jungkook crying made his heart clenched though he met him only once on his friends wedding day, he knew that he has a bubbly and naughty nature but now he is so serious that he can't even smile a bit.

"Come on stop crying like a baby this is how you gonna help me to find culprit with red cheeks and running nose like a kid", Taehyung teased to ease the atmosphere

"Hyung am not kid ", Jungkook said sniffing as he stopped crying

"But see you are crying like one , I should consider before involving you in this case you are not eligible to help ", Taehyung teased

"NO! I am helping you, once I find the culprit I'll behead him with my own hands", Jungkook slammed his hand making the wood table shake  and glared at Taehyung

"Wow! Now you were like a cute rabbit but suddenly turned into double bunny you got duality", Taehyung chuckled makeing younger blush at the nickname

"Wh-ho said am bunny am NOT!", Jungkook said

"But you behave like one even look like one", Taehyung said earning a glare from the younger but he looked cute somehow Taehyung thought to himself.
