Upon arriving home, Levi stomped up the stairs, his silence during the drive palpable. When I inquired about his feelings regarding Mason's comment, he shut off.

Greeting my mom in the kitchen, I washed my hands and sat down at the table. I thanked her when she placed a bowl filled with various fruits in front of me, I dug in and spent some time on TikTok. Later, I headed to my room, jumped on my bed, and sighed with satisfaction.

Today had been great, and to top it off, I was going to see Zyran tonight. Changing into a navy blue track suit, I grabbed my phone and keys before sneaking out through the window.

I stepped into the cabin, noticing Zyran sitting with his back turned. Deciding to playfully scare him, I moved quietly until I reached the back of the sofa.

"You really need to work on scaring people because this was a massive fail," he chuckled, laughing at my attempt. I pouted, and he flashed me a toothy grin.

"How you doin', baby?" he asked, and I wrapped my hands around his neck from behind, planting a kiss on his cheek. "Good, you?"

"Better," he replied, standing up and effortlessly leaping over the couch. Placing his hands on my hips, he kissed me deeply. "I've been waiting to get a taste of those lips," he muttered, smirking.

"Oh, really? How are they?"

"Um, a little dry."

My jaw dropped, and he chuckled. "That's impossible. I put Vaseline on like two minutes ago." Grinning, he leaned against the couch. "I'm kidding. They're perfect," he mumbled, peppering my lips with gentle kisses.

"I thought so too," I said between our lingering kisses, and he laughed, the warmth of his laughter filling the cozy cabin.

"You know I would've taken you if it was allowed," I said, watching Zyran's cute pout.

I told him about Homecoming and he wanted to go with me. Unfortunately, my school didn't permit students from other schools to attend the event.

Plus, he was 19 and supposed to be in college.

"Then who are you going with?" he asked, and I shrugged. "If Levi doesn't take anyone, I guess with him," I replied truthfully. He nodded, and I grabbed his hand, playfully toying with his fingers.

I rolled on top of him, finding refuge on his solid chest. He delicately circled his arms around me, and I nestled my face into the warmth of his neck. "You have nice fingers," I complimented, interlocking them with mine.

A sly smirk played on his lips, and I knew exactly why . "Appreciate it," he responded, the smirk still lingering. I rolled my eyes playfully, and he couldn't help but snicker. "You gotta stop being so dirty-minded."

He raised an eyebrow at my comment. "I haven't done anything. You're the one insinuating something," he teased, palms up in surrender.

"You're telling me there was no hidden meaning behind that smirk of yours?" I inquired.

"Mhmm," he hummed, a playful smile dancing on his face.

"Mhmm," I mimicked, and he hummed again, before gently pulling me closer by our still intertwined hands, leading to a sweet, lingering kiss.

I was tired and drawing random patterns on his chest. I traced on of his tattoos with my finger, as my other hand rested around his neck.

"You're so beautiful." He whispered dreamily and I looked up at him only to see him already staring down at me, a soft smile playing on his pink lips. I kissed his neck and returned the gesture. "You too." I complimented back and his smile turned into a grin.

"Thank you baby."

"I love it when you call me that." I smirked and he did too. He grabbed my arms, pulling them around his chest. "You do, huh?" He teased.

"Mhmm." He chuckled and grabbed my ass as he crashed his lips on mine, softly biting my lower lip. I started grinding on him but just as it was about to get even more interesting, my phone buzzed.

"People just love to interrupt us." Zyran complained, rolling his eyes.

I kissed him before grabbing my phone that was in the pocket of my pants that were laying on the ground.

Levi 💕

Where r u?

Beach

I'm coming

"Oh shit, Levi's gonna pick me up at the beach."

Zyran pouted and rolled on top of me, enveloping me in his strong arms. "I don't want you to leave," he whined, and I couldn't help but smile at his cuteness. Running my hand through his thick hair, I planted a gentle kiss on it.

"I'll come back, I promise."

He looked down at me, showering me with kisses before reluctantly letting me go.

Quickly getting dressed, I hugged him tightly. He leaned down to my height and planted a sweet kiss on my lips, followed by another and another. The sequence continued.

"Zyran, I really gotta go."

"Okay, just one more, and I'll let you." I rolled my eyes, walked up to him, and passionately devoured his lips before finally heading out.

******

That day at school, we all reluctantly assisted to boys asking girls to be their date for Prom. A choir would randomly barge into our classroom and start singing.

One girl got "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran but instead of the "you look perfect tonight", they sang "would you be his date for Prom?"

I'm not going to lie, it wasn't too bad.

Videos were made and posted, and if you looked really closely, you could see Levi and I talking shit about that one person in every single one.

We were verified haters.

******

I used to love shopping for dresses but I used to be accompanied by my friends.

Levi couldn't come with me because he had practice for the upcoming football game that was going to take place the night of Homecoming, so I was alone, wandering through aisles filled with colourful dresses that each looked uglier than the previous one.

I sighed defeatedly at the lack of choice that the store offered.

"Maybe I shouldn't go." I thought but I was a senior and this was my last Homecoming ever so I had to.

As I walked by an aisle, someone caught my eyes.

Dominica.
