When he finally sees you: Mikey

Mikey's been freaking out about you. You were only in the hospital for a week, but it felt like a moment to both of you.

You were finally released yesterday, but have been in bed all day, doctor's orders.

You were asleep when Mikey knocked on your window.

You didn't hear him, so he knocked again.

No answer.

He opened the window and came in anyway.

He noticed you sleeping. He was so happy to see you alright that he started tearing up.

He sat down on the bed, next to you, and used his thumb to brush the hair out of your face.

"Hey, princess." he whispered.

He didn't mean to wake you, but he did. You opened your eyes, seeing the best thing you've seen all week.

"Hey." you said, very groggy.

"I'm sorry, pumpkin, I didn't mean to wake you." Mikey said.

"Don't be sorry, Mikey. You're the best thing I've ever woken up to." You said.

"Can I see?" He asked, pointing at your mid-section.

He knew that's where you got hurt, and he wanted to see how bad it was.

You nodded and pulled down the blanket that was on you. (Yes, you have pjs on)

You pulled up your shirt, only far up enough that it showed your bandage.

You saw his eyes water.

You cupped your hand around his face.

"Hey, I'm ok, Mikestar." You say.

"What does it look like underneath?" He asked.

"Do you really wanna see it?" You ask, not really sure why he would wanna.

He nodded.

"I've gotta change the bandage in about an hour if you really wanna see." you say.

"Ok." He said.

He kissed you on the lips. "I love you." He said.

"I love you, too."
