Anne's POV

"I really enjoy this simple get together where we could share our sentiments and rant about motherhood, you know?" Coleen said while watching Isabelle's car enter the parking lot.

Sunday afternoon when Coleen and I have arrived at our place where our squad usually spend our little time with each other and bring the kids who always mind their own business around the property.

"I'm really excited today." I smiled as I read my sisterette's message. "Oh, I know! I'm also looking forward for what's gonna happen today." Coleen beamed as we hear collective squeals of joy coming from the kids.

"Oh, God- it's already Sunday yet this traffic is still hitting a nerve! We're not late, are we?" Isabelle huffed while placing their bags on the table. "Well, I guess hindi, 'coz here comes Liz!" the girls cheered as they saw Liz's car. She rolled her windows down and screamed. "WAG NA KAYONG MAG-REKLAMO, ANDITO NA AKO!" we all laughed. She's always late and we're already used to it.

We hurried inside the moment Liz got out of her car. The kids minding their own business as per usual, while we prepare snacks and drinks for everyone.

It was a busy and fun afternoon. Isabelle is making nachos, Liz is making cookies, Solenn is making pasta, Coleen is cutting fruits, and I am making a watermelon shake. I check my phone once in a while to see whether sisterette has sent another message. Coleen noticed it and took a quick glace to see if others can notice my distress.

"Wala pa raw ba sya?" she whispered. I shook my head no as I pour the watermelon shake in a glass. "Don't worry too much, hindi naman sya mag-isa. She's always with her driver, remember?" apart from that, I worry that she might have changed her mind and decided not to go. Though I understand if she would, but this is a great opportunity for her to learn and hear some mommy tips from Isabelle, Solenn and Liz.

Just as I was about to feel really sad, I heard a 'ping' from my phone. "Sis, malapit na kami." Coleen also peeped through my phone. "See? Malapit na daw." she said, and we both smiled. For some reason, Sisterette's message has given me assurance.

We were almost all done with our respective tasks, so we start setting down the plates, cutlery and glasses. We also set the table for our kids and they all quickly sat down to eat.

"What is this extra plate for? Are we expecting someone?" a confused Solenn asked. Before I could talk, everyone snapped their head outside as they hear my sisterette's van. 'She's finally here!' I bounded over to formally greet and assess her.

"Wait, is that Vice?" I heard from Isabelle. "Vicey!!!" Liz beamed. We all watched her as she walks towards us.

Kanina pa kami nagchi-chikahan ni Anne sa phone habang nagba-byahe ako papunta sa lugar na tinutukoy nya at heto na't ipina-park na ni Kuya Jun ang sasakyan.
