Beach Day🍂🩷

Charlie's POV:
I wake up and it's 11:30am. I yawn and grab my phone texting good morning to Nick. About a minute later I get a text that reads "good morning darling" I smile and instantly an idea pops in my head. I look outside and it's beautiful out. The sun is shining. I check the weather on my phone and it's the perfect day for the beach.

I text Nick asking if he wants to meet at mine and go to the beach and out to lunch. He replies with of course, see you in 10.

I smile getting out of bed and getting myself ready for the beach.

Nick's POV:
I'm really excited cause Charlie has asked me to go to the beach and grab lunch with him. I get out of bed and begin getting ready. Once I'm all set and my bag is packed I head downstairs letting my mum know the plans.
"Alright, have fun Nicky" she says.
"Thanks mum, we will." I reply heading out the door to start walking to Charlie's house.
About 10 minutes later I arrive and ring the doorbell. The door opens to a very smiley Charlie.
"Hi" I say pulling him in for a hug.
"Hey" he replies snuggling into me. We break apart and I give him a quick kiss.
"You ready to go love?" I ask as I see him grabbing his things.
"Yes all set!" He says
"You packed sun cream right babe?" I ask making sure so he doesn't get sunburnt.
"Yes, I've got it babe" he says pulling out the bottle showing me.
"Good! Alright then, let's head out and grab some food" I say
"We head out the door and I hold his hand as we begin walking to McDonald's. I order 20 chicken nuggets and a large fry for us to split, along with a coke for each of us.
We sit down and begin eating. I'm so proud of Charlie with how far he's come with his Eating struggles. He still doesn't eat a whole lot but he's always willing to try a bit of food. We eat and chat.

15 minutes later.

Charlie's POV:
We just finished eating but we still have chicken nuggets left since I've only eaten about 7 and a bit of fries. Nick had a little more than me, but I'm still proud I ate and he's proud as well. We still have our drinks so we take both the food and our drinks with us along with our bags and begin walking to the bus which is only about 10 minutes from here. We arrive just on time and get on the bus to get to the beach.

20 mins later. They arrive at the beach

Nick's POV:
We have just arrived at the beach and we are both so excited. We love the beach so much. It's actually the place I brought Charlie when we first started going out. Crazy how much time has gone by. We get off the bus with all of our things and begin walking down to the sand to find the perfect place to lay down our blanket. Once we find a spot we set our blanket up and set stones on the corners to keep it in place. We unload our bags and I begin to put sun scream on Charlie. Then for myself. I remove my top cause I just can't wait to get in the water it's so hot out. I see Char hesitate a bit to take off his shirt.
"Hey, you can keep it on if you'd like, it will dry in the sun love" I say reassuring him. He smiles leaning over to kiss me.
"Okay, shall we go in the water now?" I ask
He nods happily and we get up and head to the sea. We get about waist deep in and decide that's good enough for now.
"The water is so cold" I say laughing
Charlie smirks and splashes me getting my whole upper body.
"AHH, Char that's cold" I screech.
"At least you're used to it now" he says laughing.
He turns around and I take this as a chance to grab him from behind making sure to splash him a bit as well.
"Ahh Nick!!" He screams turning around hugging me.
"Now you're used to it too." I laugh. He laughs as well and we spend a bit more in the water before deciding to get out to dry off.

Charlie's POV:
The water was so cold but it was so much fun and definitely cooled us down. We are currently back on our blanket. Luckily our sun cream is waterproof so we don't have to apply more just yet. Nick Lays down on the blanket and I lay in his arms.
30 minutes later

Charlie's POV:
We stayed at the beach a bit longer and went in the water once more and are now packing up to go home. Luckily my shirt did dry in the sun so I'm not soaking wet when we arrive at the bus station. We get on the bus and soon enough we are back and are walking to our houses.
Nick walks me home first. When we get there we hug and I kiss him.
"Thank you for today, I had a lot of fun" I say
"Anytime darling, I had fun as well." We hug and kiss a few more times and I wave to Nick as I head inside. Nick begins walking home as well.
