Charlie's POV:
Me and Nick just had some lunch and I'm actually having a friend over soon. We were childhood friends but grew apart once we both got into high school. But he actually reached out to me over DM. I had of course mentioned this to Nick as soon as he messaged since I always want Nick's opinion on things.
Just then I hear a knock at the door. Nick lets me up and I go to answer the door.
"Hey!" I say
"Hey!" My friend Josh says as I let him in.
Nick comes over to introduce himself.
"Hey I'm Nick, Charlie's boyfriend"
"Hi, Josh, it's nice to meet you!" He says as him and Nick shake hands.
We all hang out for a bit in the living room watching a movie when suddenly I feel a hand on my leg, just gently rubbing my upper thigh.
I turn to see Josh looking right at me smiling. I instantly get uncomfortable and snuggle into Nick.

Nick's POV:
Josh seems nice, of course I have to get to know him and make sure he's not ever going to hurt Charlie and be a good friend. We are all on the sofa watching a film when I feel Charlie shift and snuggle closer to me. I hold his hand rubbing my thumb over his hand gently.
I look over and notice Josh staring Charlie down. Like yeah I understand looking at someone but the way he's doing it is making me uncomfortable and instantly jealous. I know I can fully trust Charlie with my whole life. But I'm beginning to not trust this Josh kid.
Just then I feel a tug on my jumper from Charlie.

"What's up?" I ask
"Can you get me some water?" He asks
"Yeah of course darling. I'll be quick." I say. Not wanting to leave Char alone too long with this "friend"

I head to the kitchen to get Charlie some water. I peer into the living room trying to be sneaky just then I see Josh try to hold Charlie's hand. Charlie swats it away but Josh is persistent. I place the glass on the counter and run into the living room.
"WHAT IS GOING ON?" I yell. Josh bolts off of the sofa and Charlie jumps from the sudden noise.
He gets up and instantly comes over to me. I pull him into my arms hugging him tightly. "Shh you're alright my love." I sooth rubbing circles on his back.  I whisper in his ear that his water is on the counter. Just wanting a minute alone with this kid that is no longer welcome here. Charlie lets go and walks to the kitchen  to get his water.
"What were you doing trying to hold my boyfriend's hand?" I say walking a bit closer to him.
"I-I'm sorry, he's just cute and I thought maybe I would have a shot."  He stutters.
I laugh
"He's mine and only mine. You're not having him, and you're definitely not being friends with him." I say glaring at him. Charlie comes back into the room and I hold my arms out for him where he instantly snuggles into me.
A few seconds later Charlie whispers something in my ear. "Nick, I don't want him here anymore" he says letting out a small whimper.
"Don't you worry love, he's not staying" I say reassuring him. I kiss his cheek and walk to the front door opening it.
"Get out Josh!" I say sternly
I see Josh cower as he begins to walk towards the door. I give him a little push and shut the door locking it.

Charlie sets his water on the side table bolting over to me to hug me. I lean in to kiss him.
"Thank you." Charlie says
"It's my duty as boyfriend to protect you, and I promise no one will ever hurt you when I'm around." I say
"Also, Charlie adds. "You're cute when you're jealous" he says giggling.
I smile kissing him again. I lead us over to the sofa and lay down bringing him to lay on me as we snuggle and continue our movie.
