Charlie's POV:

I have been feeling very anxious today, so I had texted Nick earlier asking if he could come over and keep me company as I am home alone. He obviously said yes, so I've just been sitting on the sofa, trying to calm myself down.

In attempts to do that I started remembering everything that happened in my past with Ben and the SA I experienced because of him.

FLASHBACK- TRIGGER WARNING, If this topic makes you anxious please skip the flashback portion)

I had agreed to meet Ben after rugby practice to officially ending this totally fake relationship. I see him leaning up against the wall as I approach him taking a deep breath.

"I don't want to meet up anymore." I said calmly.

"WHAT? Why, we aren't going to get caught." He replies

"It isn't about that, why would I even care if someone found out? Everyone already knows I'm gay." I say slightly annoyed now.

"Also, thanks for telling me about your girlfriend, oh nevermind, you didn't." I say angrily.

"Do not be angry with me for trying to figure out who I am." He says.

"I am not angry about that, I'm angry because you never slightly cared about me or my feelings, So I do not want to meet up anymore."

I begin to walk away before I am instantly pulled back and pushed against the wall as Ben forcefully kisses me as I struggle to get out of his grip.

END OF FLASHBACK

Still Charlie's POV:

I begin to cry thinking about that and that turns into a whole panic attack. I hear a knock at the door but can't even bring myself off the couch to grab it. Suddenly the door opens and I realize it's Nick but I can't even speak.

Nick's POV:

I arrive at Charlie's house after he texted me saying he was having a rough morning. I knock on the door a few times with no response. Worried, I open the door that was thankfully unlocked and see Charlie curled up on the sofa crying uncontrollably.

I sit next to him pulling him onto my lap rubbing his back.

"You're alright, I'm here now love." I say softly trying to soothe him.

He wraps his arms around me hugging me tightly. still crying but it has quieted a bit.

I continue to sooth him, kissing all over his face making him giggle slightly. He had finally calmed down and crawled off my lap but still stayed in my arms. He reached for my hand as I held it rubbing circles with my thumb.

"What happened darling?" I ask trying to understand what had caused him to be so distraught.

He began telling me about the flashback thoughts he had about what happened between him and Ben and I just felt so bad.

"I am so sorry you had to relive that experience, I promise you will always be safe as long as I am around." I said leaning forward to kiss him.

He sniffled once we pulled away. I laid down pulling him down to lay on me as I reached for a blanket and the tv remote. I put on a movie and wrapped us up as we snuggled for the rest of the day.
