New Years🎉

Charlie's POV:
Right now, Nick and I are getting ready to go to a New Years Eve party at our friend Tara's house. It's currently 7 and the party starts at 8pm but Nick and I want to grab dinner beforehand. After we both finish getting ready, we head to Nicks car and begin driving to Subway.

20 minutes later.

Nick's POV:
We just finished up at subway and are heading to Tara's house. It's not quite 8 but we wanted to get there early to just hangout for a bit before everyone else arrives and the noise begins.
We get there and get out of the car. I grab Charlie's hand as we head in.

"Hi!" Tara says hugging us both, pulling us into the house. Darcy also comes over and hugs us.

"Would you guys mind helping out with the snacks and drinks to set out?" Tara asks

"Absolutely!" Charlie says.

We all head to the dining room where a whole pile of food is sitting on the table. Fruit and veggie trays line the table and bowls of chips and dips as well.
We finish setting the rest of the things up just in time for people to begin arriving.

Everyone is having such a great time. Charlie and I are cuddled up on the sofa watching people dance around. Music is blasting through the house.
We decide to head outside for a while in front of the fire that was lit. We sit and Charlie holds my head leaning his head on my shoulder.

"I think I'll be ready to go after the fireworks." He says yawning.
I smile.
"That's fine, I'm getting a bit tired now too." I say

I pull out my phone from my pocket checking the time. It's 11:50pm right now so they should be setting up the fireworks.

Charlie's POV:
I see people setting up fireworks and I get up, pulling Nick up with me as we find a place to stand to watch the fireworks that we can actually see and enjoy them. Everyone else has gathered outside huddled together as we all begin counting down to midnight!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
Everyone shouts together. Most couples already sharing their new year's kiss.

Nick hugs me into him.

"Happy New Year darling." He says yawning

"Happy New Years!" I respond before he leans down kissing me.

We continue watching the fireworks and then get ready to leave and head back home.

We say goodbye to our friends and Nick and I head back to the car and begin driving home.

Once we get home, Nick locks the front door. We take off our jackets and shoes and both head upstairs to get our pjs on.

We get into bed and snuggle as I slowly fall asleep on Nick's shoulder
