Picnic🍂🍕

Nick's POV:
It's about 2pm right now and I've just finished packing everything for the picnic in the park I'm surprising Charlie with today. He loves picnics so I've packed all of our favourite snacks and drinks as well as a big blanket to lay out. I grab everything and send a quick text to char letting him know to be ready cause I'm heading over. He replies with okay with 2 question marks. I laugh and do a quick double check of the basket and head out starting to walk to Charlie's.
10 minutes later
I arrive at his house and walk up the door ringing the bell. A few seconds later the door opens and I see a very confused Charlie but he looks super adorable. He's wearing black skinny jeans as well as a jumper I had given him last week.
"Hey!" I say pulling him in for a hug
"Hey!" He says
"What's the basket for love?" He asks when we stop hugging.
"A surprise picnic date, I thought it would be a perfect day for it!" I reply
"Omg!!! I'm so excited shall we go now then?" Charlie says grabbing onto my hand. I nod smiling and kiss him quickly before we head out to walk to the park.
15 minutes later-they arrive
Charlie's POV:
We are currently at the park looking for the perfect place to set up our picnic date! Nick is seriously so so sweet for planning this surprise. I point over to a shaded area by a tree and me and Nick agree that it's the best spot to set everything up. We lay the blanket down first and sit down taking all of the snacks and drinks out of the basket laying them around us on the blanket.
We start to enjoy the food while we chat for a while.
"Thank you for this lovely surprise Nick, it's so lovely out today!" I say snuggling into Nick.
"Of course my love! I'm really glad we are here!" He replies kissing my forehead and holding my hand.
We lay down on the blanket and just snuggle looking up at the clouds and continuing to talk.
1 hour later.
Nick's POV:
It's a lot later now and we are just starting to pack up all of our things. We collect the garbage  toss it in a nearby bin before placing everything else back in the basket. We begin to walk out of the park and I grab Charlie's hand as we walk.
I walk Charlie home and we stop on the front step. Charlie hugs me tightly and I pull him in for some kisses.
"I had the best time today!" He says
"I'm so glad babe" I say hugging him again "I'll text you when I arrive home alright?" I add
Charlie nods as he stands back out of the hug.
"I love you so much!" He says
"I love you more." I say giving him one more hug and kiss before I leave starting to walk home. What an awesome day!!!
