Breakfast in Bed

Charlie's POV:
Usually I sleep in later than Nick, but on this particular morning I was up before him and decided I wanted to make breakfast for us both and serve it in bed. I've been learning to cook more, I tend to be better at baking. But Nick has been teaching me different recipes.

For today's breakfast I've decided to go with classic breakfast sandwiches with fruit on the side. I grab the eggs from the fridge, along with sliced cheese, and bacon that we need to use.

I begin cooking, trying to be as quiet as possible to not wake Nick and ruin the romantic idea I had envisioned.

20 minutes later...
Still Charlie's POV!

I have just finished playing up breakfast. I assemble everything on a wooden charcuterie board we got gifted for Christmas, and make my way upstairs. I see Nick just waking up. Perfect timing.

"Good morning!" I chirp!! Setting the tray down

"Good morning love, that looks amazing!" Nick replies as I sit on the bed hugging him. He kisses all over my face making me laugh.

"I still have to go grab the tea, I just couldn't take everything in one trip!" I say heading back down to grab our mugs. After I'm back in our room, Nick sets the tray on the blanket as we begin to eat.

"This was so sweet of you to do this morning." Nick says taking another bite of the Sandwich. And it's delicious as well." He adds.

I'm really glad you like it, I just thought it would be a nice way to wake up." I say smiling.

"Next time I'll do this for you." Nick says.

We put on a show on Netflix and continue our breakfast. Once we've eaten everything. We both head downstairs to tidy up the dishes and kitchen.
