Christmas Decorating

Nick's POV:

Me and Charlie are currently getting ready to go out and get our Christmas tree, as well as other decorations for our house. This will be our first Christmas living together in this house so we are both so excited.

"Char, you almost ready to go?' I ask from behind the bathroom door, just fixing up my hair.

"Yep, but can I wear one of your jumpers?" He asks

I laugh and reply "Of course darling." I say, leaving the bathroom seeing Charlie in our closet shuffling through all my jumpers before settling on a light blue one. He slips it on as I go over, wrapping my arms around him making him jump slightly.

"Ready to go get everything for our first Christmas in this house? I ask.

Charlie nods excitedly as we head out of the bedroom and downstairs.

I grab my car keys as well as a jacket for Charlie and I. We get our jackets on and head out to the car before driving to get a quick brunch before shopping.

Charlie's POV:

Me and Nick just finished up at the brunch place and are heading to our first shop to try and get the perfect tree and Christmas decor. We head in grabbing a trolley and gazing around at all of the Christmas lights lighting up the store. We head over to the tree section and browse for a while, wanting the perfect one for our home.

"What about this one?" I ask, Nick looks over from the tree he is looking at before coming over and inspecting the one I have picked.

"It already has lights on it and everything!" I add.

"I think this one is the one Char." Nick says kissing my cheek. I giggle as Nick reaches for the box with our tree inside placing it gently in the trolley.

"Now to find ornaments and items to place around the house. I say.

1 HOUR LATER.

Nick's POV:

We have finally arrived home and just brought the last of our shopping in, I am hoping we got everything we need, if not this will be a start and we can always go back.

Charlie begins laying everything out on our living room floor frazzled on where to start first.

'Let's start with the tree, I feel like that will take the longest." I say

"How did you know I was stressed over where to start?" Charlie says laughing.

"Boyfriend magic." I add laughing along with him

I take the tree out of the box, getting it all set up in the stand. Charlie helps me fluff the branches making the tree more full and less squished. We begin hanging up our ornaments on it and within about an hour we have it all set. I stand back pulling Charlie to me wrapping my arms around his waist as we both admire our work.

"What do you think, did we do a good job?" I ask.

Charlie smiles and kisses my cheek. "I think it looks perfect." He replies.

I kiss him gently, and hug him into me.

1 HOUR LATER.

Charlie's POV:

We have finally finished all the decorating and are now lounging on the sofa under a blanket. Nick had just made us some hot chocolate, so we sipped that admiring all of the work we had put in and how pretty the lit up tree was.

I would say for our first time decorating our first home we did pretty well.
