Robotnik has basically taken EVERYTHING from him, but he couldn't even let him keep Sonic, the one person that first showed him care.
He's ready for war. He's ready to fight.
Kinda reminds me of that lyric in "World Burn"
"You took me down, but you didn't finish me off!
