I have never had a normal childhood admittedly I am only 14 but in those 14 years my life has been anything but normal.
My name is Gracie Adams I am currently in foster care now living in London after I was taken away from my parents due to neglect, abuse and addiction.
Me my mum and my dad used to live in Australia Shellharbour South of Sydney to be specific. It's my favourite place in the world however we had to abruptly move here to the UK I'd never dare ask why but my parents addiction became more consistent and the abuse happened more regularly.
After turning up to football training with a few too many bruises my coach called social services for a home check and now I'm here, here living in a care home.
I don't particularly miss my parents as they never really interacted with me anyway unless it was to hurt me or make me get them their drugs.
I have never felt the feeling of love, to be loved by anyone, it's always been me, me and a football the only thing I have ever truly loved.
