Chapter-80
Author's POV
Parul's eyes were filled with tears. She hugged the old man tightly and buried her face in his chest. His warm hands patted her hair, softly.
" I miss you thatha" Her lips twitched, and tears streamed down her eyes.
They were leaving.
Raman informed them that they would return to Bengaluru in the evening.
It's been days since they arrived here. Anyhow the marriage was over, what would they do sitting here?
He thought it was time to get back home.
Revathi asked them to stay back until the Maha Pooja at Lord Shiva temple. But Sarojini and Raman were adamant about leaving.
It was 15 days away from now.
So they decided that they would get back for Maha Pooja.
Ever since Raman informed her about their soon departure, Parul was sad. Shiva didn't try to bother her. He knew how much she loved them.
She spent the rest of the noon until evening with them. She was sad that they were leaving.
" Don't cry, Pari..." He cupped her face and kissed her forehead. She shook her head and," I don't want you to go..." She cried like a little kid.
Raman smiled and patted her head. " We will be coming to see you" he tried to convince but Parul wasn't listening. " Stay here, please...I will ask him to make arrangements for you" She looked at Raman and Sarojini with hopeful eyes.
" Pari... what about our home?" it was Sarojini, looking at her with concerned eyes. Parul sighed.
" why does it have to be like this..." she was crying loudly not caring about Shiva and his family watching her.Shiva felt bad looking for her. He didn't like this. If they agreed, he would have made arrangements for them to stay here, forever. But...
" It's not bad...we will come to Jivapur every fifteen days okay?" Raman cooed, cupping her cheeks.
Parul thought for a while and nodded her head.
It was better than staying away from them for god knows how long.
" Sameer take care of them...you should call me daily..." she looked at him with demanding eyes and then hugged him.
" Don't cry didi..we will come again..." he wiped her tears and hugged her again.
Shiva hugged Sameer and then both of them touched their feet to seek blessings.
" She is quite stubborn...don't hurt her shivu...if she does anything, talk...tell her about it. But don't scold her...she is a kid" Raman clasped Shiva's hands and squeezed looking at him with hopeful eyes.
Parul's lips wobbled. If only they knew the circumstances behind their great wedding.
Shiva nodded. " I will look after her with love and care, don't worry sir..." he squeezed his hands and smiled.
" I miss you...I love you thatha, Ammamma...Sameer...I love you guys..." she screamed as they got into the car.
Parul could feel his burning gaze. But she didn't turn around.
Mansoor was responsible for taking them back to Bengaluru.
" Drive safe please..." she looked at Mansoor, who gave her a curt nod. It was strange.
