15:04 Kiyotaka's Room.

We arrived here roughly two hours ago, and honestly, being free to do whatever you want is something that I've missed. I never thought I'd be so bound to my phone or my stuff in general until I realized it during that exam.

But leaving that aside, the real reason I was here was to talk to someone. Not only that but also to listen to him speak most of the time. He inquired that we talk about something I urged him to tell me a long time ago.

Is it about his very complicated past? Why does nobody know about it? And why has he decided to tell me today?

Didn't he threaten me to cut all sorts of contact with him if I pried into his life further? But what made him do this?

I was shaking a little as he finally arrived back with a warm cup of tea. It's Indian tea that he started to like for some reason. I always thought he would be the coffee person but apparently, that's not the case anymore.

It didn't get any better once he sat down. Not next to me though, he chose to sit across the living room table and just stared me deep into the eyes.

I couldn't help but feel pressured and threatened just by the darkness of his eyes, starting to break a cold sweat on my forehead.

Kiyotaka-kun is scary. Everyone knows that yet nobody dares to speak about it, not even I do. There is something behind those eyes that made several people surrender.

And knowing what he was capable of, is even worse, it's contributing nothing good to this situation except making me feel fear.

Is it bad? I feel fear by looking my boyfriend in the eye, despite him just looking at me normally. I trust him, not because I am scared that I will break our trust, but more because I want to.

"S-So you wanted to talk? What's the topic that you wanted to talk about with me? Is it something that you are uneasy to talk about?"

I couldn't help but shoot the shot first, a short silence followed and then he proceeded to place his cup on the table again.

The sunlight shining through the windows right at his eyes, making me see myself in the reflection of his pupils was aesthetically pleasing.

It somehow made me calm down and not get too nervous. Not even the talks with Nii-san gave me those types of goosebumps.

"Ah, haven't I mentioned that already? The topic I wanted to talk about is something that I strictly wanted to keep hidden from everyone, including you."

"Yes..."

"It's my past that I wanted to share with you since I believe that you're capable of keeping it a secret. I assume your phone isn't recording anything, right?"

There it is, always the slight formality that remained between us, even in the relationship we've been trying to be as alert as possible.

"It isn't."

"You should start asking things, I am not that good at describing everything without any base."

Despite my brain following very precisely, I had yet to start a good conversation with him. That's my problem. We aren't top-tier socializers, so we always had trouble kick-starting conversations.

"Say...The thing about you being home-schooled. Is it true?"

"Depends on how you want to look at it. But I wasn't homeschooled like the regular person would be."
