I wake up to see Chase up and ready for the day. I got ready and then we went to Lunch. Supper. Chase got cofffee with Fried Chicken & Waffles. I got tea with Bacon, egg, & cheese. as we was eating we was talking about this weekend and the kids. then we took a quick trip to go shopping. then we went to Maymont Japanese Garden. it was beautiful I love it. then we went to James River Park Pipeline Walk way. then we went to ZZQ Texas Craft Barbeque. we got tea. Chase got Triple meat sandwich. I got Tres Hombres Chopped Brisket, Pork & Sausage. then we went to Oregon Hill Overlook. then we went to Sandano's Italian Sub Shop. we got tea. Chase got Steak & Cheese Cheesesteak (Mayo, Ketchup, Grilled Onions). I got Meatball Sub. then we went back to the motor home and went to sleep.

Journey POV.
I wake up to see Chase still asleep so I woke him up and we went and started our day. its Saturday and I'm excited to get the weekend started. we went to breakfast at Perly's. Chase got Coffee. I got Chocolate egg cream soda. we both got Bacon, egg, & cheese. then we went to Canal Walk. we saw Sammy and Noah Sam and Justin all together. I feel great to see all of them together.
then we went to the track for Practice then Qualifying for Xfinity. then we had Cup practice and qualifying. The field is split into two groups for the opening round of qualifying.
The top 5 from each group advance into the final round and turn another lap in the battle for the pole. For the cars that don’t advance into the final round, Group A sets the outside row while Group B sets the inside. Round 1 (Group A) :

Alex Bowman brushed the wall during his lap in round 2. He picked up light right front fender damage.
Kyle Larson will start from the pole position tomorrow. He turned a lap time at 22.469 seconds. then we went to Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint. Chase got water and Cobra Kai Burger topped with cream cheese, pickled Jalapeños and Jalapeño jelly. I got Blueberry Woodchuck Cidery, crisp apple cider is topped off with a splash of blueberry juice and cowboy, Burger topped with BBQ sauce, Applewood Smoked Bacon and American cheese. then we got heavy ts cheese fries and fried Oreo Deep fried Oreo with powdered sugar. then we was back at the track and I was on pit wall with Chase. he had change into jeans and shirt and a sweatshirt. he had an arm around my shoulder and playing with my hair. then Noah ran up and said"sis Dad said that next weekend your keeping your kids." I smile and said"I know Noah. they will be coming with us. its time to have Mae in the racing air." Noah just laughed as he sit down and talk about what ever. then we went to Chandler pit box. I had a feeling.

Practice: Joey Gase spins in turn 1 in the first minute of practice. Sammy Smith needed a push start off pit road but got the car running and returned to starting potion during pace laps.
LAP 1 Parker Retzlaff leads field to green from inside, Brandon Jones second outside. Cole Custer drivers under Parker Retzlaff into 3 but Parker Retzlaff holds him off to lead.
LAP 9 AJ Allmendinger drives a little deep into 3 and moves up the track and makes minor contact with Jesse Love battling for 8th.
LAP 15 Parker Retzlaff leading has picked up a paper plate on the grill of his car.
LAP 20 Ryan Vargas 38th up the track in turn 4 with smoke coming from under the hood, Ryan Vargas stops the car on the front stretch apron.
LAP 25 Leaders stay out, some cars in the tail end of the field pit, Garrett Smithley, Patrick Emerling, Blaine Perkins, Joey Gase pit Joey Gase pits on tires, he did not make a lap in qualifying.
LAP 28 Restart Parker Retzlaff leads inside, Justin Allgaier second outside, Cole Custer low takes it three wide off turn 2 and Parker Retzlaff gets loose in the middle and almost makes contact with Cole Custer allowing Justin Allgaier to take the lead on the outside.
LAP 43 Corey Heim passes Justin Allgaier for the lead and Brandon Jones 6th and Ryan Sieg 8th spin in turn 2, Brandon Jones started dropping fluid which caused both of them to spin.
LAP 50 Blaine Perkins stopped on track in turn 2 needs a push.
LAP 52 AJ Allmendinger 11th, Jeremy Clements 12th, Shane Van Gisbergen 16th, Brennan Poole, Kyle Sieg, Dawson Cram, Patrick Emerling, Blaine Perkins pit everyone else stays out. Only Brennan Poole took tires all others just adjusted their cars.
LAP 57 Restart Corey Heim leads inside, Justin Allgaier second outside, Corey Heim blocks Cole Custer low allowing Justin Allgaier to get ahead and lead.
LAP 60 Bubba Pollard 14th reaches the top-15 for the first time today.
LAP 65 Brennan Poole 8th after taking four tires and restarting 31st, Aric Almirola passes Justin Allgaier entering turn 1 and takes the lead.
LAP 75 Aric Almirola wins stage 1, Brennan Poole finishes second after taking four tires last caution and restarting 31st.

LAP 102 Restart Aric Almirola leads inside, Riley Herbst second outside Riley Herbst spins tires and allows Justin Allgaier by, Cole Custer 8th goes up the track in turn 2 and sends the Parker Kligerman 7th wide and almost into the wall.

then we went to Krispy Kreme and got some donuts and stuff and spend time with Chandler and Kenzie along with the boys. Sam was there. Sam said"Hope I'm next to win." I smile and said"we believe in you Sam. just keep praying." he smile and nodded. just maybe tomorrow Chase can get it done.
