William Byron tagged the wall during his qualifying lap. He still completed the lap but lost a bunch of time and picked up minor right side damage. Blaney also brushed the wall but with a little less contact.

Prior to the start of the race, rain came through at 1 pm, drying began at 2:00pm.
Rain again at 3pm halted drying efforts. Track drying resumed at 3:45pm.
Drivers were called to their cars at 4:30pm.
Engines fired at 5:03pm, green flag originally scheduled for 2:13pm local
Multiple cars had to make approved repairs following practice and qualifying Saturday: William Byron, Chase Briscoe, Tyler Reddick repaired damage from contact with wall, Denny Hamlin repaired a crack in splitter from debris, Ty Gibbs repaired nose damage from debris, Alex Bowman repaired damage suffered after falling off of the jack on pit road.
Eight pace laps were run as NASCAR dried pit road.

then we get dressed and went to Padella. River April and I got Rosemary Lemonade. April got Ragu. River got Fettuccine with Cobble Lane Cured nduja, mascarpone & lemon. I got Beef shin ragu. then we got Chocolate tart, Tiramisu. we went back to the hotel and sleep away the hours. hopefully we get up and do one of my plan days.
