Chapter 24

Tae was sitting on the sofa, still waiting and still anxiously fidgeting with his phone. It was already as clear as the day even though it was still so early in the morning, when the door of the house crack open, reveal Copter who was casually walking in, making Tae turned around and standing up right away.

But, even though he was waiting for the whole night, missing the said guy like a crazy person, anxiously worried that Copter might leaving him any moment now, when he actually saw the guy, he couldn't do anything. He basically didn't know how to react or what to do.

Instead of looking at him, Copter would just walk away heading to his room, brush him off making Tae feels more at lost. But he knew he had to do something, to say something, or at least, asking something.

"Cop...." However, that was all in the only word could come out from his mouth. He felt afraid and helpless. Copter's step halted hearing his name called but he didn't turning around but to just wait for Tae's next words. Tae was swallowing his saliva, still contemplating on the right words to say or the right question to ask.

"Where are you from?" Tae's asked making Copter silent for a while but decided not to reply to the guy and was about to walk again, making Tae feels more anxious and he didnt want to let Copter go just yet. Tae's words stopping Copter's step once again.

"Cop....what did Godt say to you? Why was he here?" Hearing Tae's question, Copter was just silent yet once again and Copter didn't want to reply the guy, afraid he would just burst out of tears, though he knew he was too tired to even shed a single tears. He was trying to walk away again heading to his room when Tae's words had stopping him once again.

"Did...did you decide to get back with him?" hearing this question coming out from Tae's mouth makes Copter feels so ridiculous. He couldn't help but laughing to himself, making Tae frowning. And when Copter was turning around looking back at him, Copter's sharp staring shocked him.

"Am I that kind of person to you, P'Tae? A person that could go to whoever extending their hand to me? In your eyes, am I that low and easy to you? What is this? Are you trying to find an excuse to actually chase me out of here? You don't have to have an excuse to chase me out from here, P'Tae. I'm just a nobody to you, so of course I should get out of here."

Tae was shocked hearing Copter that he was late to respond when Copter already rushing to his room, taking his bag out to put all his things inside.

Tae was rushing to Copter, taking hold on his arm, stopping his actions of putting every clothes in the open baggage and pulling him around making Copter facing him. Looking straight at Tae's eyes, Copter couldn't help but to shed tears that he thought he was too tired to cry once again, and that in front of P'Tae, when he decided not to show this pitiful state in front of Tae. He decided to let Tae happy with his choice, but apparently, he failed on it miserably.

"Am I not special anymore to you, P'Tae? Am I really nobody to you? It hurts, P'Tae. I don't know what to do to fight this hurt, it was so much that I felt like dying. Am I late? Am I too late? Am I such a boring person that you could easily falls out of love? Am I not deserved of any loves, P'Tae?" Copter keeps on talking but he knew he had little energy that after he said all of it, his world had turn darker.

Copter knew he was asleep but he couldn't let himself out of it when he saw himself standing in the middle of nowhere. The face of his stepmother and his stepsisters hovering over him in a circle while laughing and mocking him, after a while a new face appeared, with Godt did the same, and came Tee, doing the same and also Tae and Bas also doing the same to him. He couldn't let himself free no matter how much he was trying to shove them away or running away, they were always there.
