Today was the day of the egg festival.

It was starting at 9 AM and was being held in the town square. You thought it was cute that the town did these events that brought the people together. When you were working at Joja, people didn't seem to care about the little things. They didn't care about how other people felt. When your Grandpa passed, you still had to go into work. You weren't allowed to grieve. You ended up crying for most of the day and nobody seemed to care.

This. This felt right.

You had some time before it started, so you did your daily routine. Firstly, you turned on the TV to see the weather and your fortune. The weatherman was all smiles. Behind him was a nice graphic of a festival going on.

"It's going to be clear and sunny today... perfect weather for the Festival!" The weatherman exclaims.

Well, there you have it. You flicked to the fortune teller program next.

"The spirits are very happy today! They will do their best to shower everyone with good fortune." The fortune teller says.

"Good fortune for everyone? Wonder how that'll work during the egg hunt..." You replied.

You don't bother looking at the cooking program and make your way to the box. You're excited to see how much money you've gotten. With your crops plus the fish you caught, it should be a decent amount.

Opening the lid, you see...

1,370g!

That brings the total amount you've earned from your work 2,650g. You obviously have your other funds from before, but it feels good earning money from your own hard work. You earned a decent wage while you worked at Joja Mart, but the work wasn't meaningful. Your farm is meaningful.

You smile at the thought.

With that out of the way, you got back inside and get ready for the festival. You decide to actually dress up a little today. The first piece of clothing you take out of your closet is some black slacks. You had to have them tailored because of your height. Next was a nice long sleeve, white dress shirt. The shirt might have had sleeves, but you were just going to roll them up. It was hard, though, because your arms were a little too beefy. You got there in the end, though. You finished off the outfit with some black boots.

Once everything was on, you stood in the mirror to see how you cleaned up.

"I don't look half bad!" You say.

The outfit wasn't too stuffy. You still could move pretty easily and the boots made walking around way better than the other shoes you used to wear with this outfit.

You were done getting ready, so you made your way to the town square.

Arriving there, you look around and see it is full of people. Everyone from town seems to be here. Some you know and some you don't. There's a stall that's selling all kinds of things.

Lawn Flamingo - 400g

Pink Plush Bunny - 2,000g

Packaged Strawberry Seeds - 100g

Small Seasonal Plant - 350g

Large Seasonal Plant - 350g

Colorful tiles - 500g

Pastel Banner - 1,000g

Decorative Pitchfork - 1,000g

You looked over the list and decided to get some strawberry seeds. All the other stuff you didn't really see a need for. Especially the pitchfork. Who would need a decorative pitchfork? You didn't get it, but you guessed people bought it if they were selling it.
