"Morning Beomgyu."

Beomgyu looked up from his desk and smiled. "Morning Ryujin."

"How's the husband?" She asked setting a coffee down at his desk.

"He's good." He sipped the coffee humming at the taste. "Thank you for this."

"You're welcome." She waved and went to pass out the rest of the coffees, after she had turned Beomgyu's smile faded and he sat the coffee down.

He glanced at his ring twisting it on his finger. He bit his lip closing his eyes.

Their anniversary was coming up soon and he was looking forward to it. Yeonjun barely talked to him anymore and he knew that when it came to anniversaries he took them seriously, he always did.

He smiled thinking about the night he proposed to him and how happy he was that day. Maybe he'd surprise him with dinner and a movie, or they'd do something at home together just the two of them.

He shrugged off the negative feelings and had hope for this year. He knew things were going to be different, they had to be.

Work felt long today, longer than usual but he loved being out of the house and having some change in scenery. On his days off he spent them at home watching cartoons and eating out.

He rarely went out unlike Yeonjun who seemed to try and leave every chance he got.

Beomgyu would pretend he didn't care but deep down he hated that he was never home.

"Hey Gyu."

He looked up and gave a weak smile. "Hi Taehyun." He murmured before looking back down at his computer typing up an email.

"Wanna go for lunch together?"

Beomgyu didn't spare him another glance. "Not today."

"I ask you everyday and everyday you reject me." His voice sounding pouty.

"Well maybe one day you'll catch me off guard." He said not really thinking.

"Maybe." He reached over his desk wall and grabbed a pen and sticky notes. He wrote something down before taking it off and sticking it to his laptop.

Beomgyu sighed and looked at it. "What's this?"

"My phone number."

"I'm married."

"It's just something friends give to each other sometimes. Ughh look-" He took it back and wrote something else down and gave it back. "There's my Instagram, better?"

Beomgyu looked up at him again. "Thanks Taehyun."

"Anything for you princess."

Beomgyu blushed heavily. "Wha-I'm not your-" He had already walked off.

He rolled his eyes and went back to working. Like a few others Taehyun was one out of the five other people who had the hots for him.

He ignored them though and never hung out with them after work because despite everything going on at home with Yeonjun, he respected his relationship more than anything.

After work he took a taxi home, he quietly thanked the cab driver and he got out staring at his house. A home that was starting to feel less and less like a home every time he looked at it.

He walked inside, the quiet was comforting in its on way. He kicked off his shoes and went to his room taking off his professional work suit and putting on one of Yeonjun's t shirts.

He yawned and stretched heading back into the living room, he turned on their CD player and danced around as he cleaned up the house.

He picked up the remote pretending it was a microphone.

"So what you doin' tonight? Better say "doin you right". Watchin' movies but we ain't seen a thing tonight." He sang gently, he wiped down the coffee table and the tv stand before vacuuming the floor and fixing the couch pillows.

He went to the kitchen and cleaned that up before he decided on what to cook for dinner.

"Breathe me in, breathe me out. I don't know if I could ever go without. I'm just thinking out loud, I don't know if I could ever go without. Watermelon sugar high, watermelon sugar high, watermelon sugar hi-"

The music cut off and Beomgyu jumped turning around seeing Yeonjun staring at him.

"Y-Yeonjun." His cheeks were red with embarrassment. "You're home early." He said.

"Yep." He put his things down and walked over. "You're wearing my shirt?" He asked watching him cook.

"Hm? Oh, yeah well your clothes smell nice so." He looked at him. "How was work?"

"Good, I'm going out for dinner with coworkers."

Beomgyu frowned. "But I made you dinner."

"And it smells great I'm just gonna eat it tomorrow, is that okay?" He asked.

"Yeonjun I was kinda hoping we could eat together."

"We will. We have plenty of time for that especially next week."

Beomgyu's heart swelled up hearing him say that, he must've been talking about their anniversary, right?

He smiled at him. "Right."

Yeonjun went to get ready and when he came back he looked very handsome, he even combed his hair back.

"Wow." Beomgyu said. "You have fun."

"I will." He kissed Beomgyu's head. "See you later."

"Be safe!" He called behind him.

"I will!" He called back before closing the door.

Beomgyu looked at all the food he prepared and sighed. "Dinner alone again I guess." He murmured before going back to the kitchen.
