It was awkward. Yeonjun hadn't said much and Beomgyu didn't say anything at all. He had asked the younger simple questions about how work was and the commute to work but that's all he could come up with.

"So Taehyun is the one you've been having lunch with? What about Ryujin?"

Beomgyu sipped his drink. "She goes with her other friends a lot unless she needs to talk to me." He explained.

"So...how long have you two been having lunches together?"

"Since the day after our anniversary."

Yeonjun's stomach turned.

"Oh." Was all he could say as the waitress brought their food. When she walked away Beomgyu started eating. "So just lunches?"

"Sometimes dinner."

"You didn't think to tell me that?"

This made Beomgyu finally look at him and he cocked an eyebrow.

"Was I supposed to? I thought we weren't on those terms since you go out all the time and don't say anything to me."

Yeonjun felt the pang in his chest from that one.

"It's just...he clearly likes you."

"Yeah, he does so what?"

"So you're having dinner with a guy who likes you? Is that why you're always putting on makeup and wearing your glasses?"

He set his chopsticks down and sat back in his chair. "What are you implying Yeonjun?" His voice low as he stared at him.

Yeonjun stared back at him, the way his eyes seemed to narrow at him and he was scared. His husband may be cute but he was terrifying at times, he loved that about him. He also loved the way his lips seemed to pout but this wasn't the time to admire. He was getting chewed out right now.

"I'm not trying to imply anything I just think...maybe it's not a good idea to keep seeing him."

"I'm not seeing him Yeonjun. We hang out, we are coworkers, and let me remind you that he was there for me when you weren't so why would I throw away a friendship with him? I have fun with Tae."

"Tae?" He thought to himself.

"I understand that Beomgyu but it just makes me uncomfortable."

"So I'm just supposed to lay down and do what you want to make you comfortable? I should comfort you when you do the same thing to me and you still are!"

"I'm trying Beomgyu."

"If this is you trying it's pathetic!" He snapped at him before he stood up collecting his things. "Bringing me here and telling me to stay away from my friend? Trying to control me and-"

"That's not what I'm trying to do Beomgyu!"

"Then what is this?" He exclaimed.

People were starting to look and Beomgyu just shook his head and left. Yeonjun called after him and quickly stood up throwing money on the table and running after him.

"Beomgyu!" He ran over and grabbed his arm. Beomgyu spun around yanking his arm away, angry tears running down his face. "Beomgyu I was just trying to treat you today, just like how I've been before with making you breakfast."

Beomgyu shook his head. "I can't do this right now Yeonjun." He started to back away and Yeonjun stepped forward. "Stop."

Yeonjun stopped and sighed. "I don't know what to do!" He yelled throwing his hands up. "Just know that I'm trying to make you happy."

"Do you love me?" He asked suddenly.

"...what kind of question is that?"

"The kind you answer so answer me!" He raised his voice. "Do you love me Choi Yeonjun?"

Yeonjun nodded. "Yes."

"Tell me."

"I just did."

Beomgyu let out a pain filled laugh. "No, you didn't." He walked away and Yeonjun didn't chase after him this time. He just watched him before he turned and went back to work.

He went straight to Soobin. "That was a horrible idea! He's even more mad at me!"

"What did you do?" Soobin asked as he brought his coffee mug to his lips. "Tell me everything."

And Yeonjun did only to get met with Soobin slapping his forehead.

"What?"

"You don't see what you did wrong?"

"Not really I told him I love him."

"Hyung telling someone you love them is like this," he grabbed Yeonjun's shoulders and looked him right in his eyes. "I love you!" He let him go. "All you did was answer a question, I'm beginning to think you're sabotaging your own marriage."

"Soobin please." He grabbed his arm before he walked away. "I promise I really am trying."

"Hyung respectfully this is a horrible attempt." He whispered to him. "We can talk after work." He moved his hand from his arm and walked away.

After work the two of them walked together around the area.

"I don't know how to help you hyung. You really just need to turn over a new leaf. Start over with him, you can't turn back time and remember to celebrate your anniversary, but you could've planned something special to celebrate even if the day was over. Did you even look for a gift?"

Yeonjun shook his head. "It feels like you truly aren't trying anymore."

And like always he didn't know what to say.

"Maybe you should talk to your mom and soon, because if you wait too long it'll be too late. Go home, tell your husband you love him, make love to him, do something hyung anything!"

Yeonjun was distracted, something or someone caught his eye. The sight of his husband leaving work, the Taehyun guy walking alongside him, they stopped walking and Beomgyu looked like he was crying again. Taehyun pulled him into a hug and rubbed his back, he wiped his tears away and said things to him to make him laugh before Beomgyu nodded and they started walking again.

"Are you even listening?" Soobin asked.

"Did you see that?" He exclaimed, gesturing to Beomgyu and Taehyun walking with their backs to them. "He just hugged him, he was comforting my husband!"

Soobin looked at him. "You're jealous?"

"No I'm not. I just don't trust him, Beomgyu told me he has a crush on him and he still hangs out with him."

"Why does that make you upset?"

Yeonjun looked at him like he was growing another head on his shoulders.

"Because he could take him away from me!"

"So why did you put your relationship in such a bad spot that now you're worried someone could do that?"

Yeonjun stared at him, his once tensed shoulders relaxing. Soobin was right, Hueningkai was right. He had been ignoring Beomgyu so much that he couldn't see how bad it was getting.

"...Soobin I'm...I'm so tired." He said as he looked at him, now his eyes were starting to burn and covered his face not wanting him to see. "Fuck I don't know what to do for him because I don't know what to do for me! How can I be a good husband when I'm just...I shouldn't have proposed because I'm not good enough! I've never...I don't know what's wrong with me."

Soobin went to touch him but Yeonjun just walked away wanting to be left alone, completely missing the point of everything Soobin has said before.
