Yeonjun watched Beomgyu and Taehyun walk towards each other and hugged.

Beomgyu didn't turn back and look at Yeonjun, who was trying not to stare but he did walk a little closer to hear them a bit better.

"Are you alright?" He heard Taehyun ask him.

"I've been better."

"If you need anything you can tell me."

"Thank you Tae."

Yeonjun glanced over and saw Taehyun tuck a piece of hair behind his ear.

He walked over and cleared his throat. "Hey." He greeted and went to put his arm around Beomgyu's shoulders but he shrugged it off.

"Hey." Taehyun nodded at him. He looked back at Beomgyu and smiled at him. "I was worried about you, you hadn't returned my texts or calls."

"Yeah um...let's talk about that later."

"Wanna do dinner again?"

"Actually-"

"I'm taking him for dinner." Yeonjun chimed in. "No need to worry about any of that anymore for a while. We're going to be spending a lot of time together."

Taehyun nodded. "That's good to know." He looked at Beomgyu. "You know how to reach me if you need me princess."

Beomgyu smiled and nodded, waving to him as he walked away and left the store. He went back to shopping and Yeonjun took a deep breath and stood next to him.

"He's good for you."

Beomgyu glanced at him and then kept looking through clothes. "I don't follow."

"I see how he looks at you."

He heard his husband sigh and roll his eyes before facing him. "Yeonjun-"

"Wait just hear me out." He looked at him. "I can't be mad at you for going to him and I do trust you with him, because I know he wouldn't do anything you aren't comfortable and I know you hate me right now but you aren't a cheater." He explained. "I just...want to have what you have with him for us. I want you to be able to trust me again. I'll make sure I earn it."

He went back to shopping and Beomgyu watched him for a few seconds before he did the same.

"What do you think of this?" Beomgyu asked pulling out a shirt.

Yeonjun looked at him and then the shirt. "I like this more." He pulled out a different shirt, that was cropped. His husband gave him a look and he chuckled. "What? You always look cute in stuff like this."

He sighed and looked at the shirt. "Alright."

"Wait really?"

Beomgyu looked at him before walking away. "Let's go."

Yeonjun bit back a grin and followed him. They kept walking around together, going store to store shopping for clothes. About four hours later they decided to call it a day and head back home.

"We got a lot of stuff. Let me help you with the bags." Yeonjun said.

"I got it." Beomgyu spoke.

They walked to the car and put the bags in. Yeonjun drove them home and decided to spark up conversation.

"Hungry?" He asked.

"I could eat."

"Good, lets do lunch."

Yeonjun drove them to a restaurant which happened to be a restaurant that he took Beomgyu to when they first started dating.

"Bring back memories?" He asked as they were sitting together over their lunch.

"Yes, I remember how I stupidly spilled my drink on you out of nervousness."

They both started laughing at the memory. "You were so cute...you still are."

Beomgyu's heart skipped a beat, the longer he stared at him the redder his face got. He cleared his throat and looked away. He wanted to be mad at him, but there was no denying that Yeonjun would always pull on his heart strings.

"I still remember the first day I saw you in class. Handing me my wallet that fell out my pocket." Yeonjun looked down at his food. "I was cocky but I was so nervous that you'd turn me down. You were...so beautiful." He slowly looked at him again. "Beomgyu...I can't apologize enough about-"

Beomgyu shook his head silencing him.

"...I'm just sorry."

"I know you are Yeonjun." He sighed and touched his head. "Be honest with me please. Why did you do the things you did? Why did you...why did you avoid me?"

Yeonjun took a deep breath.

"Because of my parents."

Beomgyu looked a bit worried. "...you don't talk about them a lot. Did something happen recently?"

Yeonjun didn't say anything and then shook his head. "No, no everything is fine."

This answer didn't make Beomgyu happy but he's known Yeonjun for long enough to know when something was genuinely wrong.

"I don't trust you because you broke my heart Yeonjun, but did I ever give you a reason to not trust me?"

He shook his head.

"I want a divorce Yeonjun but you still want this to work and if you want this to work at all, you have to open up to me." He put his chopsticks down. "Let's get the rest of this togo, I'm not hungry anymore."

Yeonjun sighed, he ruined this again. His fear of losing Beomgyu was resulting in him losing his husband even faster.

But he didn't know how to open up and be that vulnerable in front of him about his life before him. A life he wanted to forget.

They got back home and Beomgyu put their food in the fridge.

"Beomgyu?"

"Yes Yeonjun?" He looked at him.

"I know you don't want to cuddle in bed or anything but, can I just...hold you for a second?"

Beomgyu stared at him before he sighed and walked over. As soon as he got close enough and started to open his arms Yeonjun pulled him into a tight embrace. He inhaled deeply, closing his eyes. It was the most relief he felt in weeks, feeling Beomgyu slowly wrap his arms around him too made his heart burst.

"I love you Beomgyu." He whispered to him.

Beomgyu's eyes started to water and he blinked them away as he slowly started to let go. Yeonjun hesitated but let him go.

Beomgyu quickly turned away. "I'm gonna take a quick shower, I can put our clothes away." He said as he walked into their room.

Then he closed the door.

And locked it.

I hope you all are able to understand the importance of me writing every time Beomgyu locks the door because it does signify shutting someone out literally and figuratively. It's a barrier. Yeonjun has put Beomgyu in a spot where he doesn't feel he can trust Yeonjun with his heart anymore.

It represents the negative emotions that are causing both of them to shut out the other. Although Beomgyu is voluntarily shutting him out while Yeonjun is doing it more subconsciously, he doesn't mean to but it's happening anyways.

Beomgyu could also just close the door and tell Yeonjun to stay out but he locks it, because he's not ready for when or if Yeonjun decides he no longer wants a door to separate them.

But a locked door isn't permanent, Yeonjun could very well still get in and Beomgyu knows that.
