XIV - Fathers!

Some time later..
I'm never going to forgive CatNap. He had to embarrass me in front of everyone.! My face won't stop burning and I can't hide it clearly..
Luckily I had some ice cream left.. that really helped me calm down, I can still hear CatNap's snickering in the corner. He wouldn't maintain eye contact, which is good.
I can feel myself fuming, and I can't stop the blush.
I will punish him, I need to. I swear, I'm going to bang him so hard tonight..~
He will never hear the end of this..~

Luckily, I still had some composure, I gathered myself up and finished the rest of my dessert. CatNap is still teasing me with that long tail of his.. the last thing I would want.. The others wouldn't stop giggling, Bobby and Hoppy would make faces.
I'm getting really uncomfortable, really. But it's not the time to let it out yet. My tail is wagging, but it feels.. different.

(Bubba) "Guys, I really think that you guys should stop."
(Kickin) "You won't like it when he snaps.. I swear, remember that one time during middle school?"
(Bobby) "Oh now.. don't worry, we know what we're doing"

Kickin and Bubba stood up for me, that assured me a bit, I hope.
Now that I've calmed down completely, we can start packing up and go. Everybody else was done as well, so we can now get going.
I stood up, my tail still swaying as I helped the others up. CatNap stood up by himself, I think he understands what he has done, but he still looked pleased.. heh.
As I was about to go out, I bumped into someone..

() "Oh! Sorry champ! Are you alright?"
(D-Day) "Ahaha- I'm okay! I wasn't paying attention.."
() "Ah! DogDay! My pup! Long time no see, eh?"
(D-Day) "dad?"
(Bubba) "That's your dad?"
(Kickin) "Mister Sunny! I haven't seen you in a while!"
(S-Dog) "Ah, yes, Kickin! My son talks a lot about you! And that purple cat as well.."
(C-Nap) "That would be me.. sir.."
(S-Dog) "Aw! Hello, champ! DogDay talks about you a lot! You two must bond very well with each other!"

I never expected to meet my dad here! I got a little excited, because I haven't seen him in a while too, ever since I moved out, we only talked through messaging..
I haven't heard from my brother, DogDoze as well. I guess he's just too busy pursuing his business life. I think he turned 20 somewhere around last month, he isn't that older than me.. right.? 4 years isn't that much of a gap..
I kind of miss him too, now that I think about it.
But that isn't what I'm concerned about, I'm pondering on why my dad is here. Nevertheless, it's nice to meet him in person after a few weeks, I haven't moved out for long as well, it just has been about a month since I moved out.

(S-Dog) "I miss you, pup"
(D-Day) "Missed you too, dad! How are things?"
(S-Dog) "Never been better, pup! How are you then? How's the new high school?"
(D-Day) "It's amazing, dad! I've met back with my friend group and my best friend too!"
(S-Dog) "That little cat of yours, yes? Well, I'm glad that you did!"
(D-Day) "Anyways, dad, I have a question. What are you doing here?"
(S-Dog) "I could ask you the same thing too, pup. Well, I wanted to take a break and hang out with my friends.. I came here with a group, just like you!"
(D-Day) "Oh, cool! We decided to go out today, instead of having dinner at home"
(S-Dog) "Wait, all of you live together?"
(D-Day) "Yeah.?"

Dad looks surprised. It's true, my jaws will drop if someone told me that they live with 7 different people inside a house.

(S-Dog) "I'm.. shocked.. Wait, so.. you 8 actually live together.? How would you deal with privacy problems-
(D-Day) "DAD!"

Even though my dad is somewhere in his 40s already, he still acts like a teen. Don't get me wrong, but I appreciate that, he can understand me more clearly, unlike other parents.
