Rhaenyra and Alicent walked their way out the small council chamber in an insufferable silence. The queen has the princess of the Targaryen slowly trailing behind her, eyes on the floor every step of the way

"So..." Her head piqued up at the sound of the queen finally initiating a conversation. "You are to move away?" Alicent continued. She didn't bother to turn around, pause, and talk to the purple eyed face to face— instead, she continued walking, eyebrows raised despite Rhaenyra not seeing.

Rhaenyra's eyes landed back to the floor with her lips slightly parted, "Yes... your grace." She replied with no life

Alicent glanced somewhere else with the tip of her tongue poking the side of her cheek, she hummed. "I see..." long pause, "where would you and the hand's son, lord Caspain, settle after marriage?" Alicent asked, trying not to spit out the intoxication in her voice. She heard Rhaenyra sigh behind her back,

"I do not get why almost everyone in the court is so eager for me to marry him— all keeps asking me this question of where he and I would go right after and where our bedding will be performed." The Targaryen scoffed

"It cannot be helped— you are the princess, a Targaryen princess, why must one not know?" Alicent replied, holding her hands together as they finally made it to their destination. Still inside the castle, yet no ceilings, only the clouds and the sun up the sky and a tree right in the middle of the roof free land.

Rhaenyra rolled her eyes and shook her head. Alicent stopped walking, not daring to step a foot yet to reveal herself from the sun, the princess stood beside her— looking at the tree. "Somewhere." She replied plainly. Alicent glanced behind her, her eyes landing towards the ethereal beauty of the princess who did not reciprocate the act

"Could you be more specific?" Alicent looked away, inhaling a sharp breath

"Probably across the narrow sea."

The queen frowned, "Well, that's too far away, don't you think?" her heart ached. Of course the queen would not show it— why would she? To be truth, it is only normal for one to create a new house somewhere distant or more, but the queen could not emotionally accept that.

"Rather than have me stay here or anywhere near here." Rhaenyra chuckled bitterly. "I bet you would also prefer to have me away from you... so which is why I suppose it's much for the good." the jest in her tone fell off slowly. Alicent's face dropped even more, so did her stomach. She's pulling it in in irritation as she felt her blood rushing too quickly in impatience— the impatience of wanting to tell the princess what she truly wanted.

"That isn't true." The queen plainly answered, doing her best to regain composure

"Dare tell what the truth really holds?" Rhaenyra glanced at the queen who sighed and approached the lonely tree in the middle, looking up at it as if admiring it for how long it stood in loneliness—

"It's not because I prefer to have you sent far away from me— with a great distance..." Alicent slowly looked down. Pausing her thoughts for a moment, "I do believe that I myself am growing fond of you..." She sheepishly said bashfully. Rhaenyra studied the queen's back figure before slowly approaching beside her
