A Memory of Two: Lost and Found

Ramyeon

Taehyung - "I wanted to follow up my promise but I couldn't control my cravings to touch you, feel you and keep you near me always. I know, we never opened up on anything. There must be many questions which you wanted to know but we never talked about it. Sanem, you don't know but every morning I wait for you to wake up before I could leave and every night I come at home with the hope to talk to you but you were never available. Why are you doing this to me?"

Sanem sits in silence. She doesn't say anything. Taehyung continues, "Have some pity on me princess. Accept me please. What's stopping you from doing so?"

Sanem says, "Taehyung, I am just taking my time. I told you I don't remember anything about us."

Taehyung - "Then ask me. I will tell you everything. But don't build this wall between us. I really want you as bad as oxygen. You are my lifeline."

Sanem looks into his watery eyes and says, "Tell me why didn't you inform me before about my name. The first time you said my name was in front of your parents. Why not before?"

Taehyung - "The reason I have already told you. I hope you remembers."

Sanem - "Why my name is different from others? I don't look like Koreans. Which country I belong to?"

Taehyung - "Turkey. You lived in an orphanage there."

Sanem exclaims and says - "I wanna visit there."

Taehyung - "For sure, I will take you there after marriage."

Sanem stays silent. Taehyung continues, "Sanem."

Sanem - "hmm....."

Taehyung - "Do you have anything to confess?"

Sanem hesitates and says, "Like what?"

Taehyung - "Anything? That you think you wanna share? Any doubt? Any confusion? Or something else?"

Sanem - "Nothing. I just wanna go to my room"

Taehyung with soften eyes says, "Stay with me please. I can't bear anymore distance from you."

And with statement he hugged her tightly placing his lips on the nape of her neck. She doesn't say anything just loosened her body. He says, "please accept me princess. I will die without you."

Sanem parts him away and says, "Give me some more time Taehyung."

He looks into her eyes and says, "Okay, but you have to stay with me. I won't do anything filthy to you. But stay with me. Don't separate me with you. I am made for you."

Listening his umpteen pleadings, she agrees. After a moment, she says, "but I am hungry now."

Taehyung gives her an intense gaze and asks, "Would you like to have some ramyeon with me?"

Sanem nods. He smiles shyly and moved out of the room. After 20 mins, he comes up with two large bowls of ramyeon. He places those bowls on the table near the couch and ask her if she needs any help to get up from the bed. But she stands up from the bed and sit on the couch. He looks her with soften eyes and places himself beside her. 

He enjoys seeing her eating and specially ramyeon with him. He blushes thinking that how he asked her to be his date and she even accepts. She eats up and praises. Taehyung responds with a smile, "Thank you."

Sanem exclaims, "You made it? It's so delicious." He smiles looking at her and mumbles, "why are you cute? How could I resist this cuteness?"

That night they both sleep on the same bed. Taehyung always sleeps with bare body so he removes his upper body clothes. Sanem looks him in astonishment with her open mouth. He comes near her and asks, "What's fascinated you?"

Sanem says - "You can't sleep like this with me."

Taehyung - "I sleep like this everyday."

Sanem stays silence. So he turns the heater on and pulls a blanket over him. He even covers her saying, "Cover yourself otherwise you might catch cold." They both sleep on the edges leaving an ample of distance among themselves.

He keeps staring at her. After a few moments Sanem asks, "How will I sleep if you keep staring at me?"

Taehyung - "Think you are all alone. Don't think about me."

Sanem - "That's not possible."

Taehyung - "Please let me look at you. I feel relax when I look at your face. I don't know but my soul enjoys your presence. I really don't know, what you did to me."

Sanem - "I am sleepy Taehyung."

Taehyung - "Yes, yes. You take rest. It's important for you."

And they both sleep. In the morning, when Sanem opens her eyes, she found her body wrapped against Taehyung and her head on his arm. Her left hand places on his bare chest and her one leg on his thighs. She looks at his face, he sleeps very peacefully. She even finds out that he hasn't hugged her. It was her body who wraps his body because he was sleeping all straight. Before she could think further, Taehyung wakes up and see her beside him. A smile covers his face and he says, "Good morning." Then, he closely examines the situation and finds she wraps her whole body around him. She quickly gets up and sit straight on the bed. Her face flushes in embarrassment. He asks while covering himself and pouting, "Did you do anything with me when I was asleep?" 

Sanem watches his drama and says, "Shut up. Why would I do?"

Taehyung - "See I am very sensitive towards such incidents. What if I was wronged while I was in deep sleep? I won't tolerate these behavior."

Sanem shouts, "Don't say a word Taehyung. I didn't do anything with you. For God's sake, stop blaming me."

Taehyung pulls her closer and with the sparkling eyes he says while chuckling, "But I will turn blind eye to everything even if you have done anything wrong with me. Just admit it. I won't do anything against you."

Sanem flicks on his head and says while parting herself away from him, "In your dreams Kim Taehyung. I have not done anything and if you don't believe me then I will sleep in my room from today onwards."

He quickly gets up and pulls her close again and this time she fell upon him making him lying flat on the bed again. Her chest being placed on his'. Taehyung says in pleading voice, "Noooo. Don't say so. Okay, I will not tease you anymore. But please stay with me."

A painful sob came out of Sanem's mouth as her bruised knee get pressured because of Taehyung's action. He quickly gets up in concern and asks, "What happened?"

Then, he looks down on her knees and understood everything. He apologizes and carefully place her aside. He says in almost crying voice, "Sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you. Sorry."

Sanem nods to indicate him to stay calm. She says, "It's okay. Not a big deal."
