(Chapter 31) Escape Part 3

I felt my body go through the normal motions that come with warping over long distances, but thankfully, Odin's teleportation circle landed in the right spot. As the light died out around my eyes, I found myself behind Rias and her peerage. They were surrounded by the same devils who were a part of the old Demon King regime. They hadn't broken out into a fight yet, meaning we got here on time.

"Kyaaa!" Suddenly, I heard a feminine shriek over to my right. It was Akeno making a noise she normally doesn't.

"Hmm, you've got quite a fine ass. You young'uns really do have the best curves and the tightest muscles..." Odin...just flipped up Akeno's skirt. In the middle of this dire situation, the first thing he did was walk over and get an eye full of her panties.

I was right by his side in the next second before gripping his forearm and yanking it aside, fully releasing his hold on the hem of Akeno's skirt.

"Hey, you old bastard. Now isn't the time for stunts like this." I was already pissed off as is, so seeing something like that ended up pushing me over the edge.

"Yeesh, can't an old man have some fun? It's especially in times like this that we need to know when to relax and when to react. Goodness, you and Rossweisse seem like you'd get along if you act like this." My grip tightened to the point that he actually looked slightly uncomfortable.

"People are in danger and could possibly die. Focus!"

"Alright, alright I get it already. You're gonna break my forearm at this rate." With his mind back on track, I let it go as the O.R.C. looked at the two of us in confusion.

"Odin-sama and Issei?! What are you two doing here?" With obvious confusion, Rias was the first one to question our presence here. Odin began stroking his beard while walking towards the crowd of devils.

"It would take too long to explain, so let's just say the Chaos Brigade has taken control of this Rating Game." Seems Rias had no idea what was happening outside, but I don't blame her. As far as she was concerned, this was supposed to be a regular Rating Game.

"The organizing committee is meeting with representatives from each of the various powers to respond to this threat. That said, it's clear as day from all this that Diodora Astaroth has allied himself with the old guard. He must have received one of those serpents from Ophis. That's the only way to explain his sudden increase in strength. I hope you understand how much danger you're all in here. You're going to need help. Unfortunately, the site of this Rating Game has been sealed behind a powerful barrier. It won't be easy for any of you to break through, let alone destroy it. No, the only way of lowering it is by defeating the one who fashioned it here on the inside."

"If that's so, how did you two get in here?" Akeno asked while holding down her skirt and fighting the embarrassed flush still on her face.

"When I sacrificed my eye to Mimir's Well, I gained intimate knowledge of all manner of demon powers. This barrier is no exception." The glass that was over one of Odin's eyes began glowing, and my body instinctively wanted to move out the way. Even Ddraig felt nervous around it.

"Our foe is the chief Norse god! Glory to those who take him down!" As Odin was explaining the situation and his powers, our enemies decided to finally attack. Magic attacks swelled in the air before launching over to Odin. Everyone else was about to defend themselves, but Odin slowly raised his staff above the ground before tapping it against the floor.

The very air vibrated as a thunderous roar echoed out. All the spells in the vicinity exploded at once. Odin chuckled victoriously while combing his fingers through his long white beard.

"Normally, I would be able to shatter the barrier myself, but it took all my power just to get me and the Red Dragon Emperor inside...I wonder, how many opponents we'll have in here? Ah well. Here, these are for you all. That good for nothing rapscallion Azazel asked me to give them to you. Using an old man as his errand boy, that wretched stripling. We had a youngster right next to me he could have handed it off to!"
