Chapter 4

La'terria POV

I woke up this morning to see that I had an hour until I had to report to work. I forgot to mention that I work at Forever 21. I work half of a day when I have classes, but whole days when I don't. It's just to have a little spending money for clothes, groceries, exc. My mom takes care of my tuition; I help when I need to. I get up and do my hygienes, gotta keep myself up. Then, I went to the kitchen because a bvtch is hungry. I start making my chocolate chip pancakes, but I added some bacon and eggs to go with it. The bacon is done but as I'm scrambling my cheesy eggs, my phone goes off, letting me know I have a text message. After I put my eggs on a plate along with my pancakes and bacon, I pick up my phone to see a text from this fvck boy,Tyson.

Fvckboy: Wassup,ma (8:45)

Me: Nun, wyw? (8:50)

Fvckboy: Nun, I just wanted to hyu (8:51)

Me: Umm...... ok (8:52)

Fvckboy: Why u acting so mean? (8:53)

Me: Because idk u (8:55)

Fvckboy: Well we can fix that how bout we go out tonight? (8:56)

Me: Yea, where are we going? (8:57)

Fvckboy: That's a surprise, beautiful. (8:58)

Me: lol ok (8:59)

After that conversation was over, I started eating my food. Ten minutes later, I was putting on my white,black, and yellow dressed top, my black slacks, and my black flats. I don't wear heels too much. After I put my hair in a sloppy bun, I was headed to my car. I started singing "Love" by Musiq Soulchild as I was driving in my car, I guess I was in my feelings today. After about 10 more minutes of driving, I finally reached the outlet where I worked at. Finally, I found a parking spot close to Forever 21. I walk into the store, clocked myself in, and made my way to the register. Almost simultaneously, Dria, my colleague, walks in. "What's up, Terria? She asked me. "Nothing much." I answer. Dria's cool, we're just not besties. Just when we were about to make conversation, a woman came into the store. This bvtch right here though, she comes here every once a week, the most rude customer I've ever seen in my life! But I'm gonna be professional; the customer is always right, as they say. "Hey, welcome to Forever 21." She just ignored me, oh well I did my part.

2 Hours Later

Well, my shift is over. I guess I'll find something to wear for this "date" tonight. I looked, looked, and did some more looking until I decided on a navy blue bralet, jean overall shorts, and some light grey vans, it's casual but sexy too. After I picked it out, I took it to the register, paid for it, and used my employee discount. I rode home in silence and reached my house within ten minutes. I got in the apartment and sat down my bags and went to the bathroom to start my shower. After my shower and everything, I started curling my hair. After, I was satisfied with my hair I started getting dressed. Then, I got a text from Tyson.

Fvckboy: Hey beautiful, what's your address?(7:23)

Me: 2481 Cherrytree Dr.(7:24)

Fvckboy: Alright, I'll be there in ten.(7:26)

Me: Okay(7:27)

I put on my earrings and waited for him to get here. Like five seconds later, I hear a knock at the door. I stand up, straightened my clothes up on me, and made my way to the door. "Who is it?" I ask. "Tyson" he replies. I took a deep breath and opened the door. Of course I met eye to eye with this handsome, chocolate man. He smiled at me. "You ready?" I smiled back. "Yea, just let me get my purse." I walked away from him and got my grey clutch from my coffee table. He looked me up and down and smirked. He led me out of the door and to his car, a copper-colored Aston Martin. He must have some money, my peep game is strong. He opens the door for me, but I could feel his eyes glued to my butt, this nigga. I knew then that this was gonna be a long night.
