Pulfura a planet mostly metal but with its small half of natural beauty, Darkseid required a certain power that was hidden on the planet my orders were clear.
-Wipe out anything that gets in your way-
I was surprised that such an advanced planet had no wars. Its inhabitants so intelligent and arrogant still followed gods I quickly realized the true nature of this planet like many... it was just a facade. The rich prospered and the poor survived as best they could their social ladder was simple. The poor, the aristocrats and the gods they so revered.
Their gods... were disappointing at most. Instead of relaying on their own abilities and strengths they used advanced technology to be "stronger". A grave mistake that cost them everything.... Foolishly I had another moment of weakness I saw how those fanatics of these gods were killing innocents in a strike then I understood why there was no conflict on this planet those who had power were suppressing the weakest.
Stupidly I acted and finished off those who were acting as the law on the planet and quickly gained the attention of these gods... they did not take kindly to a foreigner invading their domain. I would be lying if I said it was easy but it was not, they relied too much on their technology and with good reason I had never in my life felt anything that compared to the burning fire of apokolips, I was overcome more than once but with my own skills and ingenuity I was able to win.
One by one these gods fell... I have some memory of what the leader of these Deities told me... something that I am sure was erased from my memory... or something that I simply wanted to forget.

I hesitated but it didn't stop me from completing my mission as soon as I took this artifact everything shut down. There was no more noise in the whole planet, that sphere, artifact or whatever it was kept the planet alive but my orders were clear. At the arrival of Darkseid the planet was already in chaos there was no need to send the parademons if everything was already in ruins thanks to its own inhabitants.
That day I discovered a horrible truth Darkseid subjected in experiments this sphere which apparently contained several amounts of very old and powerful energies. Little by little it was losing its godly energy until it became hollow.
None of this brought Darkseid closer to finding the Anti-life equation and the experiments were simply forgotten to continue with others that day I discovered the lengths Darkseid would go to just to get the equation if this was already terrifying I don't want to know what other lenghts he will go to get it.
