Sofia's p.o.v
I reached over and turned my alarm clock off. I looked at the time 6:15 . I hop out of bed and jumped in the shower. After I got out of the shower I brushed my teeth and put my hot pink cami and laced shorts on. I decided today was going to be a good day. I skipped down stairs and found my dad and older brother Seth eating IHOP.
"Good morning sweetie" my dad said cheerfully
"Morning daddy"I cheerfully said back "did u get IHOP?" I questioned. He nodded yes. I sat down and got some bacon and hash browns.
"Can u take me to school today?"Seth asked
"You guys aren't going to school today."he answered back
"What! Why?" I loudly asked
"I leave for Magcon today"
"So that doesn't mean I have to miss school. I have a really big test I have to take to see what colleges I need to apply for!" I said
"I was thinking maybe you and your brother could perform at magcon singing a duet!"my dad said enthusiastically
"really!?"Seth asked
"Yea I hear you guys singing together all the time. You know your mother sang when she was your age." (Take note our mom died 10 years ago)
"Dad, I can't sing at magcon!" I said
"Why we do here all the time at home?" Seth questioned
"We'll for one I have stage fright, for 2 know one even knows you have kids and, for three I want to actually have a real career and to have a real life not waste it on stage!" I said getting angry
"Everyone eventually conquers there fears ,they were eventually going to find out dad has kids and a real career, well did you just think that you would do magcon your whole life?" My brother argued with me
" I knew I would not do this my whole life, but even 15 years from know there will be fans and I don't want to have to deal with that!"I yelled
"Enough!" My dad hollered
" Seth, Sofia don't say another word! I already told people you guys would come and filled out paper work for you two to go and stay at the hotel! You guys are going and that's final!" My dad said in his loud voice
"What! You did that without my word! Why are you guys so selfish!" I yelled running upstairs to my room.
