You sigh in relief as you escape your group. Being at this boy/girl camp with your friends was very fun, but sometimes you just needed a break. You walk towards a small shaded area where you can see the lake clearly. You sit on a log admiring the view.
" Can I sit with you?" A voice interrupts your thoughts. You look up to see your crush, Joshua. You feel your heart skip a beat as you nod. Ever since you met Joshua you've had a crush on him. The two of you and some friends would always hang out together, your friends would tease you saying that your crush on him was so obvious. But to Joshua it was anything but obvious. You tried your best to tell him about your feelings, but it somehow always back fired. Not to mention he treated you more like a friend than a potential love interest. So you gave up on trying, but you still always get butterflies when ever you see him. You hated this feeling, because no matter what you did it seemed like he'd never take a hint. The two of you sit there in silence watching the lake. That is until you feel Joshua's burning gaze on the side of your face. You turn to him, biting your lip nervously.
" What?" You ask.
" Nothing. You just look really pretty right now." He states. You laugh in disbelief.
" Um, thanks? Why the sudden compliment?" You ask curiously. Joshua stares at you funnily.
" Because I like you." He says. Your eyes widen as your jaw drops slightly.
" Wait huh?!"
" I thought it was obvious that I like you. Vernon and Jeonghan told me it couldn't be more obvious." Joshua confesses. You blink.
" Really? Because I would have never guessed! I thought my crush on you was super obvious." You say as Joshua suddenly laughs. You can't help but laugh with him. All this time the two of you did like each other, but the both of you were oblivious to it. When the two of you calm down, you end up staring at each other.
" So you really like me?" The both of you say at the same time. You giggle as he blushes.
"Yeah, I've always liked you Joshua. Ever since we met." I admit.
" Why didn't you tell me before?" He asks.
" Because, I was afraid...Afraid you wouldn't like me back or laugh at me..." You says looking down at your hands. Joshua shakes his head.
" Why wouldn't I like such a beautiful girl?" He says as he comes closer to you. Joshua leans in, and you meet him, your lips brushing against his. Wrapping an arm around you, Joshua pulls you closer deepening the kiss. You feel your heart beat race as he pulls away. He smiles as he watches you blush. He wraps you into a hug.
" Since we like each other so much, would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend Y/N?" Joshua asks. You blush harder.
" Yes." You say as he gives you a heart melting smile. Then he leans back in, kissing you lips once again. And that's how the two you stayed, kissing on the log.
