" Look at her, who does she think she is coming here and trying to fit in with us?"
" I know, she's just a foreigner, like her Korean isn't even that good."
You sigh and lower you head even more than it already is if possible. It's a normal day at school, if you call being bullied all day normal. But there's nothing you can do, it just the way things are.
" Y/N will you please stand and read the poem to the class?" You teacher said. You hesitated to stand, every eye is on you as start to read. Being nervous, you stumble and mess up your pronunciation, cringing at your mistake, the room erupts in giggles and whispers. Your cheeks redden as you apologize to your teacher and sit back down. Tears threaten to fall down, but you swallow it down, and go back to finishing your work. Feeling someone stare at you, you make eye contact with Choi Seungcheol. Also known as the most popular boy in your grade. He looks at you, his eyes big and the most beautiful shade of brown, his eyes almost look apologetic. Looking away, you feel your face redden once again, as the bell finally rings, you grab your books and rush out of the class room as fast as you can. You have to admit, you've always liked Seungcheol, even if he was popular, he was always so nice and a total dork. He was funny and his aegyo could kill anyone's heart. But since you've been bullied, and the rumors going around, your almost certain that he doesn't even think about you. You head towards the cafeteria, grabbing a tray and getting your lunch. As you balance your food on the tray, you back up into someone, whipping around you apologize immediately.
" I'm so sorry!" You said until you noticed who it was. Seungcheol. He smiles widely, his goofy grin melting your heart.
" Don't worry about it, Y/N." He said. You freeze, he actually remembers your name?
" S-sorry." You say again before scurrying away from him. You sit down and eat your lunch alone, as usual, until at bunch of girls come stomping your way.
" Oh great." You thought as you stood up quickly.
" Why was Seungcheol smiling at you?" Wendi asks me.
" I-It was nothing. I just accidentally bumped into him that's all." I squeak. She scoffs, rolling her eyes as her followers do the same.
" Like I'm supposed to believe that! You were flirting with him weren't you? Look girls, the foreign girl thinks she can come to our country and take what belongs to us." Wendi said. You frown slightly, these girls didn't own Seungcheol, no one did.
" I only bumped into him I swear." You said. Wendi pushes you by your shoulders, and keeps pushing until your back hits a wall.
" You're lying. You don't even belong here. We're going to take care of you so that you don't bother us anymore, foreign scum." Wendi nods and the girls pull out egg cartons from behind them and start chucking them at you. You wince as the egg shells make contact with you, breaking and making your uniform a mess. Once hits you cheek, and another your eyes and you feel tears drip down from the pain.
"Awh! The outsider is crying! What a little baby she is. What are you going to do? Swim back to your country and cry to mommy?" Wendi snarled. The girls laugh and your eyes shut close as you continue to cry into your hands. Suddenly, you hear water splashes, and screams and squeals. Opening you eyes, you see Seungcheol, Wonwoo and Jihoon holding empty buckets, and the girls drenched with water. Your jaw falls open, your eyes immediately meet Seungcheol's and he gives you a slightly smile.
" OPPA!" Wendi screams as she shakes some of the water out of her hair. Seungcheol's smile melts, and is replaced with a serious expression.
" I'd appreciate if you'd stop bullying Y/N. She hasn't once done anything to you. She may be a foreigner, but she speaks Korean well and studied very hard to do so. She does belong here." Seungcheol said sternly. He walks towards you, grabbing your hand and walks away with you. He leads you into the nurse's office, helps you clean up and even cleaning your cheek and eye.
" T-thank you. You didn't have to do that." You said feeling the butterflies in your stomach go crazy. Seungcheol shakes his head, caressing your scratched cheek.
" Yes I did. You might not know Y/N, but I like you. A lot." He said as your eyes widen.
" W-wait you like me?!" You ask. Seungcheol nods with a grin, you can't belive your ears.
" I..I like you too." You said looking down at your hands, you sure that your cheeks are red.
" I'm glad you do." He said.
" Why?"
" Because it't okay for me to do this now." He said with a cheeky grin before leaning in and capturing your lips. Your eyes widen even more if possible, then close as you melt into his sweet kiss. This day went from 0 to 100 in the matter of hours, and you wouldn't change anything.
