The Straw Hats stood face-to-face with the massive, three-headed beast. Its glowing red eyes pierced through the mist, each head snarling and snapping with feral aggression. A growl rumbled deep in its chest, echoing like thunder in the dimly lit grove. The Cerberus, a creature straight out of legend, had chosen its prey—and it wasn't going to let them pass without a fight.

“Yeah… it definitely wants to fight,” Franky said, his voice steady but with an edge of caution. He crossed his arms, his mechanical hand clinking faintly.

“I’ll handle this,” Zoro said, stepping forward. His hand instinctively went to the hilt of his katana, eyes narrowing as he assessed the beast.

“Wait,” Luffy interjected, a wide grin spreading across his face. “Let me try to tame it first!” His tone was carefree, almost as if he didn’t see the danger in front of them.

Y/N raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms. “Luffy, it’s not just any dog. This thing’s like… the boss of all dogs.”

“A dog is a dog!” Luffy said with a laugh, waving Y/N off. He held out his hand confidently toward the middle head. “Good boy! Shake!”

Without warning, the center head lunged, its jaws snapping shut around Luffy’s arm.

“Right after we warned him…” Franky muttered through gritted teeth, sweat forming on his brow.

To everyone’s suprise, Luffy didn’t panic. Instead, he chuckled, patting the beast's side. “There, there. That’s a good boy… Easy now. Let go, nice and slow…” His voice was calm, almost soothing.

For a moment, it seemed like Luffy was actually getting through to the creature. The heads stopped thrashing, their snarls quieting into low, uncertain growls.

Then, without warning, Luffy’s face twisted into an exaggerated scowl. “DUMB DOG!” he shouted, slamming his fist into the Cerberus with a devastating punch. The force sent the beast flying backward, its massive body crashing into the the wall.

The Cerberus collapsed in a heap, all three heads letting out weak, synchronized whines before falling silent.

“Down,” Luffy commanded, dusting off his hands as if nothing unusual had happened.

The rest of the crew stared in stunned silence, sweat dripping down their faces. “Erm… no,” they finally muttered, breaking the silence.

Robin knelt beside the unconscious creature, her eyes studying it with academic curiosity. “Those wounds… It’s a miracle this creature is even alive. Such resilience is fascinating.”

Sanji lit a cigarette, his brow furrowed as he eyed the beast. “And one of those heads is a fox. I don’t even know if you can call this thing a real animal.”

Luffy, undeterred, climbed onto the now-subdued Cerberus and patted its back enthusiastically. “This island is amazing! We’ve been here for five minutes, and we’ve already seen something this cool!” He grinned at Y/N and Franky. “Let’s ride it!”

The Cerberus groaned in defeat as Luffy, Y/N, and Franky climbed onto its back. With its three heads hanging low, it trudged forward with a depressing gait.

“Past the canal is a forest,” Franky noted, glancing around.

“Nami-san! Naaamiiii-saaaaan! Where are you!?” Sanji called out, cupping his hands around his mouth as he scanned the area.

Robin glanced at the Cerberus. “Poor thing doesn’t look too happy.”

“Well, don’t sympathize with losers too much,” Zoro said, walking alongside them. “It’ll hurt its pride.”
